and if you are like Joseph or TrunkZ69 who goes around 35 times a month, that's a damn fine deal... ;)

Wait a minute, I think I've been to this place. Kwun can confirm this. But the night I went was pretty crowded. The walls are a bit difficult for badminton but once you get used to the light colours, everything is OK.

Will be staying at Hiddenbrooke in Vallejo , is that near Westmoor Highand South City HS?

How well do i play? I say about average. I play here in Manila 3 X a week. 2 to 3 hours (including rest :) ) with courts that have queing systems. Its quite good cause you get to play with different people with different skill levels.

    From Level 1 to 10 ( 1 being the highest, maybe 6 or 5).

Compared to Ants (long time poster here) who is maybe a 1 or 2. (Sorry Ants :) )

Man..with all these open courts, I'd wish I can get a coach to train me.

The weekend players at SJSU use primarly feather birds. Possibly the players that come during the week are primarily SJSU students who are recreational players who tend to use nylon shuttles more than the wknd players.

I think I'm going to check things out at SJSU tonight. If there are so many open courts, I could use the time to do some drills and practice serves.

If anyone else is coming tonight let me know or come say hello. I'll be the big chinese dude with glasses in a blue shirt and blue wristbands.

Kwun- if you aren't too busy, how about you and janet dropping by SJSU tonight? :)

PS. to Weebow: you guys rock on friday nites. I would be afraid to step on the same court as you guys. If anyone out there is looking for some serious competition, hook up with weebow on friday nites at westmoor.

    Having fun with family

Having been playing with my two boys (7 and 10) in our back yard for a while, I am thinking of bringing them to experience a real court. Do we just walk in during those open hours? Same charge on kids?

BTW, I want to say "Thank you" to the forum for saving me from bidding on fake Yonex rackets from ebay. Good work! (Guess you have received such appreciation many times.)

You might try the weekend sessions which have not yet been advertised. There have been plenty of courts available at SJSU on SAT & SUN afternoon.

Not sure of the start time but I believe that if you show up some time between 2:30 and 5pm it will certainly be open. It may very well start earlier than that. I don't think that they've been charging at all this month. If they do, I'm sure that it will be no more than $2 or $3 per person.

You should go on weekdays too. It's mostly wide open then. I don't know if they will still charge $3 for 7/10 year old boys...but then again with the whole budgetary issues, I'm sure they will. Anyone go tonight (monday?)

    Is this still current info?

    Hi there,
I'm really interested playing badminton. Is this schedule still current as of today Oct. 8, 2004?
Do you know of SJSU's badminton schedule on the weekends?
    Thank you.
