IN China, badminton fans mostly use 7-9usd/barrel,and of course,we have to pay more because of the cost of materials(the badminton feather and the labour cost and other costs )....
and most of us use yonex and lining kason victor rsl......and also many other brand shuttles!!
    and
    lora want to know:
how much a barrel of shuttle do u use ?

I have to spend $31 usd a tube in the uk, You can get rubbish shuttles for $21 usd a tube at the cheapest. I use Yonex AS 50's and in a one hour session of singles i will go through 2 shuttles, if I use the lesser cheaper shuttle maybe go through 4-6 thats why i go wwith the expensive ones for singles.

since i "found" about 5 tubes of shuttles in a local tourney (aero reds), i didn't have to buy any for the last few months :D

however, if i paid for them it would be like, 20 bucks a piece in america. far too expensive....usually i buy cheap ones from some guy in my local badminton club for 13 or so.

we used to buy shutlecock from this guy who ordered directly from a chinese factory and tag his own brand, the lowest grade one is like $8.5/tube when you buy more than 25 tubes each time, i think he's increased the price since last year, but the quality is good enough for beginner/intermediate players, great deal for us

I used Garuda Crystal (Indonesian brand) shuttlecock
it cost me $5 per tube
it is decent for normal play, durable enough for some games, I used around 1-2 shuttles every 1 hour (but I used it until it destroyed.. for example 2 feathers gone)

I use Winners that my coach bought for me from a source that I don't know. I paid 12.50 usd per tube/barrel. The birds last me usually one game so I feel like I paid a decent amount
