Greetings. Could you tell me if my shoes are OK for badminton or should I get a new ones?

I'm a beginner and I spray my ankle a lot while playing. I'm wondering it the cause is bad technique/footwork, bad footwear or both.

It looks really flat on the bottom from my experience I only play with ones slightly an angle on the front and I don't know how you play, if you follow badminton video guides about footwork and it really isn't working for you, I'd advise you to stop because spraining your ankle is serious. Every thought of exercising before playing badminton games and rounds?

Yeah, these shoes look rather flat on the bottom - are they skate shoes or something? I would get badminton shoes or at least some type of court shoes that have better support and good grip on the bottom.

Definitely try to get better shoes. Other than playing better and avoiding injury, they will save you money in the long run, since you will not break this pair of shoes. Badminton shoes are generally more durable for badminton than other shoes, at the worst the wear and tear is divided among the shoes.

I'm not sure, since I've bought them 6 years ago, but I think they are futsal shoes.
