MBS already has 2nd gen 62, 67, 70. Dunno why the 65 hasn't shown up in stock yet but I'm sure it will be soon.

I don't think I paid much more than 5 bucks from Stringers World, but it's good to have more than one source.....

.......not that I've used my first batch yet.

Tried the Z65 for the first time today (I am behind the times) - couldn't really be much happier with it. Nearly the most powerful string I've ever tried, with nearly the hardest feel, and I didn't break it in the first session. Thing is, I'll now have to try Z62 at the same tension...

I was pleasantly surprised that the UK got it so soon after the US launch as well.

As hard a feel as BG80?

If so I must order some! :) (as well as more VS850 :p)

^Well, I've got some BG80 and VS850 still to test at 30... never taken them so high before, so the crown might go at the last minute.

(Sorry - blissful memories of Sunday's footie coloured that metaphor:D.)

Ungh, it has a hard feel? I was hoping it was more like Ultimax / VS850 and less like BG80.

Especially considering I need to get a roll of string, and Ultimax is $106 and ZM65 is $79.

    SW35 + ZM62N@25lbs.

the pop coming out of this combo is just incredible.

and for the battle of thin gauge, ZM62N beats NBG98 hands down. slightly stiffer feeling and more feel on the ZM62N, and with even more explosiveness than NBG98.

durability might be NBG98 is better, but to be honest with everyone here, i have never broken a ZM62N. no matter how hard i tried to hit with it.

i have a friend who just had his racket strung with NBG98@25lbs. i gave him my racket with ZM62N to try, he gave me his other racket and ask me to cut the strings and put the ZM62N on it. he is getting way more repulsion from the ZM62 than the NBG98.

Well, i cant agree more than that. In the past, i use 66UM and after i tried Z62. I had given up on all yonex strings.

Isn't NBG98 a 0.66 string? I don't disagree that Zymax is better than Nanogy in almost any aspect, but I'm sure that the thickness difference probably causes a lot of the differences in the repulsion of the string compared to ZM62N.

Lol, i kinda agree with you. no wonder it is hard for Canadians to put strings on high tension... we can only blame the weather.

just tried out the red ZM65 @ 25lbs on my old Sotx D900, surprisingly this one has more pop and feels less planky than the white ZM65 @ 24lbs on TSF500i.

The red Z65 is quite nice isn't it. Crisp solid feel. I didn't buy any white b/c of the advice on this forum. (and the red looks so beautiful on my PP Trinity 1 )

I just ordered the 65 in red. Probably will string at 22-24. Can't wait to try it.

I've tried the microlegend which was amazing and gave me loads more control and some power, then they went soggy and I've fallen out with the racket that they're in. About to try the micropower at 22?lbs. So I'll use that to gauge what tension I will go for.

Bit of help please. I'm very happy with .70 ashaway @ stock (22lbs I am told). For my zymax65 do I go with 19/21 to feel the same, 21/23 same tension but will feel tighter, or 23/25? Not sure if I should push for more tension as I'm getting good contact and plenty of power.
