why are you comparing an item to a person . An example if you someone stole your paycheck after a month of hard work won't you be furies? and if your girlfriend stole money from you and left won't that cause you pain? You've obviously never experienced it and if you do you'll probably do the same unless you have money to throw around.

I was giving an example someone stole it from your hand , e.g a snatch thief. That's how you would feel. When a criminal is identified police, they will give out information about him so he can be brought to justice. Similar to this case.

Posting the criminals info, allows vigilante action... What is to prevent lynch mob or death threats... You might be responsible for injury or harm to the criminal...
