Congrats Linda for your maiden title. "http://ibnlive.in.com/news/syed-modi-gp-p-v-sindhu-falters-in-final/311944-5-135.html" EXCERPTS: "Sindhu plays really well and, considering she is only 17, she has lot of titles to win in the future," said the winner. "I really can't say much." Being the favourite, Sindhu was short of words at her loss. "She played well and did not give me too many opportunities to attack. I also made many errors which really took the game away from me. The match had too many rallies and Fanetri was defending well too. "I got a bit nervous too at the end when she levelled at 17-all in the third game. I am thankful for the support and I am really sorry that I lost today," added Sindhu.

Yeah, a good win for Lindaweni, beating Eriko in two straight sets and by that kind of score is no mean feat.
Yup. Linda is the most consistent INA WS now. Last time I saw her play and lost to Mitani, she really need to work on her footwork, while she is a rally player, that is a must. I assume she is improving by looking at her achievements last 6 months. I noticed that if Linda has to lose, she never lost it tamely. Compared to her team mates, that is way better. She deserved to be top 10-15.
Age factor.... Gonna be 23 soon. Barring any injury, still has a long way ahead. (Hopefully) not "mentok" yet. So, check. Quality coach... Liang Chiuhsia & Sarwendah. Okay, check. Quality sparring (something which the CBA & KBA are abundant).... Nope. Best of luck, Linda.
Now my assessment seems wrong as somehow Lindaweni has been defeated quite easily by Nozomi in 36 minutes of straight game
Does anybody know, where I can watch Linda defeated TTY full match in the Djarum Superliga last time?
(Birmingham, 6/2/2013) Chinese player is a good player but that does not mean they can not be defeated. This is what Liang Chiu Sia stated, the Head Coach of Women's Singles in PBSI to her players, Linda Wenifanetri shortly before she played with Wang Yihan. Linda's victory over Yihan in the first round of All England 2013 is the moment that she will never forget by the Indonesia women's single player who are ranks 18 in the world. Could topple one of the world's best players will certainly inject spirit in Linda. "From the beginning I have stressed to Linda, that she could win from Yihan. Chinese player is a good player, but that does not mean they can not be defeated as long as we control and manage the game "said Chiu Sia who is a former player who carried the flag of China. According to Chiu Sia, Linda key to success is that she is able to control Yihan who could change the game. "Linda was a tenacious player, she can run right tactics. She can also withstand Yihan who want to play fast. In addition, Linda also gave the ball which is unpleasant for Yihan position, so I'm not surprised she could win "added the former coach's Susi Susanti. The result today is expected Chiu Sia be a lesson for other women players, that we can tear down the walls of China with the right 'guns' and the strategy of 'war'. source :http://badmintonindonesia.org/app/information/newsDetail.aspx?/1712
At first round All England, Linda beaten WYH in stright set only?! Ehmm... Looks difficult to find their video match cz just first ronud
I am not happy that Linda always served high to Tine. She was not quick and too many high shot returned that was easily smashed / dropped shot by Tine. It was not a good strategy since the beginning. Liang Chiu Sia should have anticipated this and reversed Linda's strategy already before it was too late. It is a wasted opportunity!
