Hello, For some months now, I string my badminton rackets and friends' ones (about 21 lbs). Everything is fine, except that, during playing, some strings tend to leave the horizontal (or vertical) path. That is, they bend slightly (everybody has already encountered such things when playing badminton). I'm wondering if I can do something special to avoid this problem (that happens often with other stringers as well). Thanks.
nothing you can do. string moves, that a fact or life. nothing that the player nor the stringer can do about it. just shift it back to straight. should be simple to do.
^^ Sure you can avoid this... just string it higher tension say 26 lbs or use strings with rougher coatings like vs850, zm62, nbg99, bg85. And lastly, to the OP, stop slicing your shots.
I'm afraid you and your friends are going to have to buy new racquets, because that is clearly the problem. that or use bg65ti at 25lbs or less
I'm convinced stringing at higher tensions reduces this phenomenon. This can be easily understood. What is also clear is that slicing shots effectively makes the thing worse. Thanks for all the answers.
From my experience it depends more on the string. The slippier the better because it will go back to it's place
