Unbelievable.. Simon Santoso wear Titan Limited. Shoes prices only about USD 40. Compared to previous sponsor Yonex SHB86EX about USD 100.

They are really cheap yes, but I don't think they are cheap models.
There are some shoes with the x structure for the malaysian and indoesian market only too. I have them. And they absolutely don't feel cheap.

We maybe just are fooled by all the manufacturers and are still buying the so called high-end shoes for much money.

In my opinion, expensive shoes is much more better in terms of durability compared to lower models. With that said, cushion, tackiness, etc are more or less the same when they are fresh. Therefore, i would prefer to purchase 4 lower end models in a year as compared to only purchase 1 high end shoes in a year. Cost will be practically the same, not to mention the variety of designs we could play around with, we only miss the hype since most of pro players use high end models. From shoes manufacturer point of view, it is just business.

Ps : My opinion are based on the limited number of high end shoes model i have ever used.
