respectable performance against the Olympics Champion.

Lee ran out of power after the impress start of the first game. Chau's front court coverage is pretty decent and her shot selection is different than other players (probably due to her being left handed). but in the end, Zhang/Zhao are much more consistent through out and took the match.

GVS/LKW only get play this tournament very seriously despite poor performance in last 4 tournaments from German Open till NZ open... or else their ranking might get higher than current... by the way they have their ticket to WC Guangchou booked...

the final of Badminton Asia Championship tomorrow seems more like to be Badminton East Asian Championship final as only 2 countries from East Asia will fight for the titles. and to make it worse, only XD title will openly fighting for as the other 4 titles already found the country they will go to, who ever the player take them home.

the big question now is: where is the others?

I wonder how the MS will be fixed tomorrow, give DuPY his first international title or give CL the points to move closer to the world No.1 spot.

I just watched the replay of the Sayaka Takahashi - Intanon Ratchanok QF match, at the final points of the tight third game, Intanon was clearly tiring, it was her fitness that let her down;still, quite evenly matched. Funny how ST has almost the same habit as Tine Baun in occasionally raising her feet one after the other to tap the sole of each foot, except that she does it with the feet and hands in front rather than at the back.

For now, among the non-CHN WS, I rate Intanon Ratchanok, Sayaka Takahashi and Sung Ji Hyun at the top of the heap, then followed by a few others.
