Malaysia is looking at the possibility of a 0-2 hole after the defeat of the MD and with Sonia Cheah trailing badly in WS.

Meanwhile, Lithuania is fighting hard not to be under the same boat, their MS player Povilas forcing a nail biting rubber.

Ratchanok is now battling Yippy, and just won game 1 with a very tight score. Yippy was too excitable when leading initially - sometimes she celebrated too early, thinking that the rally was won.

Vietnam is in cruise control against hapless Kazakhstan, but USA is battling back to try level the score against Sweden..

Not very many spectators in this session, but better than earlier.

China win 5 - 0. It's good. I hope China win 2013 Sudirman Cup title, to make it 5th titles in a row

Two of my favourite impressive veterans on court now, Hu Yun vs Boonsak Ponsana. Worth watching esp when accompanied by Morten Frost's commentary.

I'm still searching for other courts other than the live TV telecast of Ct 1 Thai vs HKSAR.

Vietnam took their forth tie in comical fashion, the last point came when the two Kazakhstan men collided with each other when trying to smash.

Lithuania is still trying to challenge Australia despite being 0-2 down. In WS, Verdet Kessler had to take so many game points before closing it out 28-26. But she is now down in the 2nd.

Boonsak did an escape artist act, passing Hu Yun at the finish line in game 1.

Meanwhile former World MD Champion Halim Haryanto (with long hair) lost a tight first game while partnering Phillip Chew. Didn't start well in the 2nd either.

Malaysian WD pair finding the veteran Cheng Weng Hsing a difficult opponent, they are behind in the first. Trying to impose the attack too much but are not prepared for deceptive dropshots.

I must say the Group 2 and 3 matches are no less interesting than Group 1. Because the skill levels are roughly similar, we are treated to tight matches.

TPE needs only one more game to with their tie against Malaysia. Hsieh Pei Chen and Cheng Weng Hsing won the first 21-17, almost purely by using dropshots and defence.

If you use Chrome, download an extension called 'Stealthy', and that will allow you to watch it. It's basically a proxy server.

TPE team stuns the host MAS, 3-1. Potential group 1C winner for TPE.
