Anybody knows what's going on? He had withdrawn from German Open, hasn't participated at All England either... Maybe injured again? Don't think he's still sick, because he has already played e.g. at Djarum Superliga 2013. Anybody knows more?

Good to see him playing at Axiata Cup. Hope he will soon reach his full potential (which I think is yet to come) before he's too old.

Just watched Santoso in round 1 of Axiata on youtube. Looks like he switched from Yonex to Li-Ning.

With the loss of 11k pts from the INA SSP last year and unconvincing performance since his injury, I am afraid Simon will drop out of top 50 very very soon and he will face an uphill battle to regain his status as a top 10 player. He might also be dropped from Pelatnas if his wretched form continues.

yes.. and it's his fault... joko got furious on him... that's why, there is a possibility that simon will be banned from international tourney for 3-6 months.

He's always going down with some back problem or other :( that's too bad, considering he's not getting any younger. I don't know if putting him on ice for a few months will achieve anything, except strain relationships between him and other people.

Maybe the bosses should get together with him and talk about a possible coaching offer for the junior BS team. Simon has so much talent and proper technique -it would be a shame to lose all that resource in one man....

Wild guess: for his inability to maintain his own physical condition + (even wilder guess) fear-of-losing mentality?

Where do you see a fear-of-losing mentality? Simon's attitude is very positive, his motto is: "Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn"...

simon cannot keep his own condition. the injury is because of his own fault. he said that his sleeping position made him got the injury

when you are positive enough, you will know what to do to keep your own fitness condition.
he lost in several 1st or 2nd rounds recently. that makes simon fear.
nervous is a starting thing that made him got the injury....

What's your source? Recent results may also be caused by previous injuries which he had not recovered from to 100%. I've seen him winning matches in which he was behind, but then he came back...
