    Prediction for Ina camp :

This is best line up for Ina in Sin SS since I dont know when, having succesfully put all players in every discipline despite everything ;)

    MS : Tommy v NTM
This is the best chance for Tommy to get his SS title, it's matter of confidence and stamina

    WS : Linda v WYH (45-55)

Linda has put tremendous performance here but WYH will be keen to make up her lost in AE

    MD (match of the day)
Battle of master in MD, I believe Hendra/Ahsan will win this maybe in 3 tough sets

WD (cant believe Ina has 2 reps in field that Chn always dominate)

    Greysia/Nitya v TQ/ZYL
With Greys super jump smashes and Nitya deft touch at net they will surely trouble Chn pair. But i dont think they will win this

    Pia/Rizky v Misaki/Ayaka
Cmon now, how many loses Pia/Rizky can take from this super tenacious Jpn pair :p

    XD

    Towi/Lily v Jordan/Vita
Jordan continues to impress me but his journey will end here ;)

I see one representative each from THA and VIE and some JPN and KOR while the rest are CHN and INA. No representatives form outside of Asia.

Good to see the organizers scheduled LXR vs SY's match before WYH vs LF.

What did you try to imply? :D Some BCer pointed out that WYH is "plotted" to win the title here in order to up her rank so in coming WC can be further "plotted" to be bla bla bla :D in that case WYH must strive to win the SF, if only she makes it into finals there's chance for title! If Lindaweni is the winner in the SF, whether it's LXR or SY who's waiting in the finals is irrelevant. Nevertheless it's an entertaining idea to see Lindaweni and Sun Yu in the finals :p

You've not been following Yoo Yeon Seong's exploits in the INA PSS last week?

you can download a plugin (imgoTV_3.0.0.030.exe) from http://live.imgo.tv/ to watch 先锋兵羽 channel ( a channel full of badminton and table tennis)
http://www.fengyunzhibo.com/tv/guangdongtiyu-qo8s82s5.htm to watch 广东体育 ( the two commentators are not very professional, I think)

The dismal run of Saina Nehwal in 2013 continued in Singapore where she lost to L Fanetri (U) 21-17, 13-21, 13-21.
It was obvious she was tired from playing 3 consecutive weeks from Thailand to Indonesia to Singpore and her team should know better than to enter her in all the 3 tournaments.
It appears that a player could do well at the most in 2 consecutive weeks unless in a 3 consecutive-week run a player drops out earlier and recoups for the next tournament just as Boonsak Ponsana did in his match against CWF. BP played very badly in the Indonesian Open QF with the score of 10-21, 7-21.
Notwithstanding the aforesaid, credit has to be given to L Fanetri who played well to defeat SN for the first time and to reach the SF of a SS tournament for the first time also.

Yup, rare feat that only one CHN pair in last four, all CHN WD are beatable except the mighty one Wang/Yu who missed this SS. Two WD semifinals are interesting here :)

....but sadly for the Korean teams, they are all drawn against one another in the semis! At least this ensures that Korea will feature in 2 finals.

INA suffers the same fate in XD, so that guarantees a INA vs KOR finals in XD

A Korean team will also wait in the MD for the outcome of this marquee SF match:

Meanwhile, there's no reason why Boonsak should not move to the finals to defend his title. He holds a 2-0 h2h against his semis opponent, Takuma Ueda.

In the other MS semis, the ever-reliable NTM will take on Tommy Sugiarto who will be looking to make a dent in the 0-6 h2h.

Some great matches today, but my pick is:
