I have gotten another MX80 recently after I sold off one some times ago. Kinda miss the feeling of holding it on my hand. Very very solid!

It is really a beauty to play with. No more feeling tired easily after using it which was the main reason I sold it off previously. Maybe I have developed a bit of fitness to handle it better. I am a wrist player, no problem at all to use it for all kind of shots using wrist at the net and placement of shuttle at different corners anytime I like. Very nice feel and accurate to play with all these shots. Smashing power is not lacking at all as compared to the VTZF 4U which I had before. The smashing is sharp and powerful even though it is not as head heavy as other head heavy rackets. It is really speedy for fast swing as well in double game. Defense and attacking have been at ease with this racket.

Enjoy the game so much with MX80! ;)

Anyone know if this racket is stiffer than the MP99? I'm considering it as a potential replacement.

It's guaranteed way stiffer than most 99.99% of the rackets out there... short of a few Forzas.

Just more feedback on the 3UG5 MX80 strung at 30 pounds with BG66UM, RKEP Ultimate grip. A pleasure to play with, good power and control in doubles, and excellent all around in singles. I would go so far to say that I prefer it in singles over my 3UG5 Z-Force. I suspect that at the end of the day though (with my current skill level, technique etc), as long as the racket is at least slightly head heavy and slightly stiff, I would be playing a similar style and level.

I said it months ago, and I'll say it again - no problems at all with the stiffness of this racket. And with so many new Victor rackets (which are getting raving reviews from Paul Stewart etc), the MX80 is still being manufactured and used by a large number of amateur and (Victor sponsored) pro players. Not surprising too! Perhaps this racket will go down as the AT700 of Victor.

Search around a little, I'm sure some shop will have it cheaper than that. If you're interested, you can buy mine, which is a used 3U one in good condition. If you have further questions regarding that, pm me or post them in the thread I started over in the buy&sell section.

I had two, bought two more from Eric. Now getting another one from a friend since he can't use it. That's how good mx80 is to me.

I don't have many rackets. it accounts for 20% of all my rackets, but I use my MX80 80% of the time.

Ferrerkiko - I have not reviewed MX80 because I couldn't keep hold of one for long enough.
