Hey Paul Just wondering how TK6ooo will fare in the hands of someone like Elisha who favours TK8ooo...
It would probably play the same for me as I find that all my box frame rackets play the same. The only difference would be the stiffness.
Can somone give a comparison between TK6000 4U n 3U..Would playing with a 3U yield inferior response vs 4U since glowing review was mostly on the 4U. Your replies will help in my decision. Currently my go racket is RKEP XP70 3U 300BP. Pretty happy with it but looking for a spare racket with more power n control like the TK6000. Thanks.
I suspect Koo and Lee may even eventually outshine Lee and Jung. The days of the front-court/back-court specialists are over. Comments?
TeddyC - I have no idea how Elisha plays and therefore I cannot comment on whether she would like the racket or not. I know from my own experience as I have all Victor rackets in my demo bag that TK6000 outperforms TK8000. Both are powerful rackets but I fnd 6000 has the edge being a 4U version because of the extra speed generated. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
The 2 Kims are rising , hope they will keep on win games , the recent Hong kong open 2013 , they had done well.
Paul Have read ur reviews on both rackets n place my trust in those reviews...just want a second opinion frm a Thruster user...
No doubt Jetspeed will be available in Asia before it arrives in Europe. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Just to set the record straight, I'm a dude.... As for the Thruster in concern, I'm not sure whether the TK8k works for me because of my physique or its just is a brilliant racket. The Legend II which is also a Thruster is just as good albeit a bit stiffer. The Thrusters compared to the other series like the BS and MX are unique in the sense that the rackets can consistently torpedo the shuttle in a downward angle with little effort! Maybe there is something to that Catapult Structure after all... And I'm sure that the TK6k keeping with the Thruster recipe, it is probably just as good. Not to mention how easy they are to play with. I find the BS frames to fast for my swing and the MX frames a little more demanding however I would still love to try the LHI and the MX90....
I'm also a big "thruster k8000 enthusiast" and I think the only thing that would make me switch is something a bit stiffer and MAYBE a bit lighter. Something tells me I'll be waiting for the thruster 7000s and not the tk6000.
Or Legend II. But good luck finding that locally. I only know of 2 places online selling them and they are both in HK.
that one was even head heavier though wasn't it? I find reading the victor specs so misleading because of how general they are with only 5 dots.
You can find it on Taobao as well though you probably need someone living in China to help as I think most of them only accept Unionpay.
I watch the game last night Kim Sa Rang Hong Kong Open 2013 Vs Lee Tong dae /Yoo. I saw hw was using MX 90. Then he sitch to a orange racket , is either MX JJS or new Jetspeed. I wonder why did he change racket from winning to losing the other 2 games.
Hi Enwei, Can I get your thoughts on the LF7400 please, as I'm thinking of getting one myself. My current racket is Yonex voltric 70 4U Thanks, Gary
Does anyone know if the MX 90 arriving in the UK will be the 3U version or the 4U? Also will that be the final racket to be released in the Meteor range?
