Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 29-Dec-2013 (A Short Report) . Here is a short report for our Sunday CCC CATS at MSAC on 29-Dec-2013. We thank trainees for removing themselves from our 'Booking List' when unable to attend; therefore opening up vacancies for new trainees wishing to join us. Reminder : If you are unable to attend, kindly remove your name ASAP so that others can replace you, otherwise you will be fined. Why? And MSAC charges the court fees if we cancel our courts within 24 hours before our session starts. At this session, we welcomed 2 new trainees; * Abin-M * Thiru-P Hope that they had enjoyed our CATS. Trainees are now to begin ALL drills with these 2 strokes :- (1) The "Low Service", and (2) The "Net Return" and then, continue with the other strokes of our set drills. Why? Because we need to train more on these first 2 strokes in a rally. For this CATS, we went through "Playing Badminton with Safety". Points to remember are; * How to protect being hit on our face. * How to prevent from getting "Tennis Elbow" and "Golf Elbow". * How to prevent from rolling our ankles. 2 info were missed (after reading back my previous post), namely; * How to prevent from getting "Knee Injuries". * How to prevent from getting "Cramps". Please remind me to cover these matters at our next session. For Abin-M and Thiru-P, our new 2 trainees, they might not know that our CCC CATS conducts a program which takes around half-a-year to complete.
