    Hi Guys,

I've been a faithful Yonex racket buyer for years.

After reading reviews I've decided to try a Victor for my next racket. But I have no idea what to get, I've never tried anything other than Yonex.

I live in the middle east, I have no chance of trying different rackets before buying, Most guys in my gym where I play don't want to share rackets :( not a very friendly bunch here.

So far I have used the following rackets

    Yonex
    VT80, Z-Slash, Z-Force, Z-Speed.

My Favourite racket at the moment is the Z-speed, 2nd Favorite is the Z-force.

    Z-Speed > Z-Force > Z-Slash <- VT80

What would you guys recommend for me from Victor?

Can only compare with Z-F. From Victor side, it could b TK-9ooo. But Z-F shaft would b stiffer imo.

if you like the z-speed because of head heaviness in combination with speed, you should try the bravesword or meteor series from victor.

Bravesword has diamond shaped frames. The way the frame has been shaped makes the racket very fast in handling. The BS LYD is a bit head heavy, but in combination with the diamond frame it makes it pretty fast.

if you like more solid/ stable style rackets like a z-force or armortec, i think you should get the meteor version. BUT!, Meteor frames are pretty damn stiff compared with yonex rackets.
I currently own the following meteor frames
    - MX 80 (maybe the stiffest racket i own)
    - MX 70 (less stiff but still xtra stiff in yonex measurements)
    - MX london edition (Basicly a MX 70)
    - MX 700 (between a mx 70 and 60 stiffness wise)
    - MX 60 (stiff in yonex measurements, medium victor wise)

My favourite racket from victor is the mx 60. Just a little head heavy and a very stable frame makes it a real nice racket to play with.

so concluding. If you want your racket to be more stable like armortecs and z-force, choose meteor frames. If you want less stable frame but speed is your gamestyle choos a bravesword. (LYD or 11)

If you prefer the heavier head which it looks like you do and Yonex stuff shafts, then you should give the Bravesword 11 a go with a heavy head and stuff shaft. As well as the diamond shaft giving good movement though the air.
    Good luck :)

If you like ZForce... You should give MX-JJS a try. I find them similar except JJS has a more predictable shaft.

It's a process of deciding what you like. Head heavy, medium, head light....stiff, flexible....speed, power. The list goes on. I own a BS11 and find it fast with an even balance and stiff-medium. I have owned an MX80 4 and 3U. Both have been extremely stiff. I also have an SW35 which is stiff, head heavy and slow. It is more a singles racket. Lots to choose from. Just a process of knowing what you like.

I know most consider BS11 head heavy but I think its only relative within the Bravesword series. Compared to Yonex, it feels more or less even balance (maybe just a tad head heavy) like the Arcsaber series. Bravesword is like supersonic speed compared to all Yonex racquets, but without any negative timing issues. It just feels right, esp in doubles.

Keep in mind I do double grap (both stretched thin and very little overlap) so that will "adjust" the heavy heaviness (less head heavy) to my liking too.

Anyway BS series a solid racket and I moved from Arc10 and Zforce to it and have not look back, at least not yet :)

Thank you for all the recommendations.

Honestly I'm still confused :(, and reselling a victor racket will not be easy in dubai as every one is a yonex fan boy :( so i want to get this right

what would be the fastest head heavy racket victor has?

preference on speed more than head heavy

personally, I've chosen the TK6000 (4U) over the VT80: it is more agile, and while relatively head heavy, doesn't strain my arms as much. Power is more than a match for the vt80 (for my playing style at least).

To be honest with you it went like bought the z-slash liked it, bought the z-force felt it was easier to handle than the z-slash(z slash smashes were the best) but z-force was better overall and was more consistent than z slash.

bought the z speed which is now my all around fav racket for both handling due to its speed and also for the killer smash.

I have a fast swing speed and plenty of power.

I get what you're saying though just trying to find out what the closest thing to the Z speed is?

and if it was more head heavy and due to its shape or material had a faster swing speed I'd be a happy victor convert

That's either the best or worst post I've ever read on here, I can't decide which it is.

I believe that there could be a better match for me plus I sold my z slash and z force all I have now is the z speed but I need a back up racket. Plus I love tho try new racket s. Never tried anything other than yonex.

I'm not ready to settle down yet. When I find the right one I'll marry her be it yonex or Victor
