I was going to wait for Paul's review to come out before I pull the trigger, but I can't wait anymore.

I already have my mind set out to buy the BS12N. I'm also interested in the JS 8ST. From what I gather here, the 8ST is very similar to the BS12N, but stiffer and have a lighter head. Do you guys think the two rackets may complement one another or I should just go for the BS12N? I am tempted to buy both and see which one I'll like better, but from my extensive research, it seems like the BS12N is my next racket.

    Comments?

ST is certainly lighter in the head, but similar shaft stiffness. I liken PS version to BS12.

From what I'm told, Bravesword series are going to be finished after this year. Victor Europe will carry BS12N and L until Christmas or until stocks run out. So you could find you won't have a choice next year.

At times like these your question becomes harder to answer. Do you go for the new technology or stay with tried and tested? That's a personal choice. For me, I'd consider how long I want to keep the rackets for and then decide.

Lol... Usually if there's no personal information and if I think it would benefit the thread, I usually answer those pm's in the relevant thread. :)

Aside from a few extra details my replies were all actually answers I've already posted in this thread =X

That being said my opinion on the head weight of the three rackets in question are 8PS < 12N < 8ST. My latest 12N is about 292mm dry :3 fortunately my latest from of gripping with a red G09 has managed to maintain the exact same BP wet :D

I think I'll have to try the hard feeling BG80 next, probably at 23x25 lbs. This PS frame is just too soft feeling, adversely affecting any touch shots. Excellent power, but quite mushy feel. Not as bad as ZSpeed mind you. :p

And as I've found out, increasing 1-2 lbs over my usual ZM62 21x23 lbs has exceeded the durability limit of the string. :(

Sigh the frame really is too soft..I didn't even want to give it a chance with BG80.

    Yee I go it wrong haha..should be 8PS > 12N > 8ST

Never tried the NR800 so I cannot comment for it. The BS 12 has a marginally bigger head iirc. I've sold both already because I disliked the feel so I can't put them on top of each other to see. The 8ST is geared more towards control and defense counter attack play while the 8PS is the all rounder with more power.

AJ puchong got the ST 3U and PS 4U on display (SG code). I measure on top of BS12, the Jetspeed frame bigger by 1 frame thickness.
