    Hi all.

    I have been looking at the AT800DF for a while as my next racket, however I am very confused on how stiff this racket is as the specs seem to be different on many different sites!

    yonex.co.uk specs =>
    AT800DF, G4, 4U, Flex:Medium

    yonex.com specs =>
    AT800DF, G4, 4U, Flex:Extra Stiff

    centralsports.co.uk (official yonex uk dealer) =>
    AT800DF, G4, 4U, Flex:Stiff

    How can all of these sites (especially the yonex sites) come up with different specs for the same racket, which one is correct???? :confused:

    The Armortec 800DE TH [4U-G4] that I've just bought from a member here on this forum is rated as "STIFF." This is denoted on the shalf right before the "X section: Aero." How about you guys (check the shaft)?

    Even if all the resource have the same rating, you should still try it (if possible, like rent a demo, borrow from a friend, etc) before you buy it. It's down to your feeling, not by others. ;)

    Thanks all for looking! :)

    I am asking because I am off to the Yoneex All England Championship tomorrow :cool: and was hoping to find some cheap rackets on sale at the event as I would like to upgrade from my MP44 to a similar 'defensive' style racket but with a bit more power when it comes to smashes (I have good technique with my smashes but to get a killer smash with MP44 it is quite tiring).

    ...... Also, don't you think it is poor that the official Yonex web sites are not consistent in the information they provide about the AT800DF??

    The only Yonex site I trust is the Japan one, do you know how often the American one is updated? They still had the Muscle Power raffle thing when the Armortecs came out!

    are rackets cheaper at the AE?

    Like mentioned before, always go with the yonex japan site.
    AT-800df is rated stiff. at-800of is extra stiff.
