    Hi All

I've just got back from the Yonex All England open quarter finals (which I have to say was an amazing experience) and yonex have released there 2005 brochure which I have picked up a copy of.

Here is the racket line up for 2005 in the UK (direct from the brochure):

    NS8000 - Stiff 3U G3
    NS7000 - Stiff 3U G3
    AT800OF - Extra Stiff 4U G4
    AT800DF - Stiff 4U G4
    AT500 - Stiff 3U G3
    AT300 - Medium 3U G3
    MP99 - Extra Stiff 3U G3
    MP88 - Medium 4U G4
    MP66 - Flexible 3U G3
    MP44 - Flexible 3U G3 (New Colour)
    MP28 - Medium 3U G3 (New Colour)
    MP25 - Flexible 3U G3 (New Colour)
    MP23 - Flexible 2U G3 (New Colour)
    CAB30MS - Stiff 2U G3
    CAB10MS - Stiff 2U G3
    ISO75MFLT - Extra Flexible 3U G3
    ISO65LT - Medium 3U G3 (New Colour)
    ISO30VF - Medium 2U G3 (New Colour)
    ISO23VF - Medium 2U G3 (New Colour)

You will notice that AT700 and CAB20MS are not in the line up, I can only assume yonex are not going to supply these rackets in the UK anymore!

True you will be able to pick up a Cab 30 MS 2u in UK but they are demanding £100 GBP for it! Go figure

I wonder if UK is the most expensive place for badminton equipments?
(considering the Yonex rackets prices, I think UK is even more expensive the Japan and USA)

I would count the Philippines as one of the most expensive places to buy a Yonex racket. The Cab30MS costs 10000pesos which is approximately 200USD  here! ouch ouch ouch. (i still need to save up to get a Cab30MS)

The new colurs are (from what I can see in the brochure) :

    MP44 = Blue and gold
    MP28 = Black and orange
MP25 = Blue, black (with a touch of red)
MP23 = White, black and light blue (looks very nice for bottom of the range MP)

I will try and scan the latest badminton racket chart asap and post it because it includes the NS8000.

BTW, the RRP for the cab30ms is £100, however the online UK retailers never ask anywhere nere the RRP, it is more likely to cost £65-£70.

Not only AT-700 and CAB20MS, but also MP-100.

I think Phillipines products are overpriced... UK is understandable coz its pound sterling.. if you dont convert its still considered cheap.

    I have the same brochure.
It definitely says 3U G3 for both NS7000 and NS8000

Im a little confused about the order of the rackets. Does that mean that the Cab 30 MS is more of a lower end than the MP23?

No, its just that yonex listed the CABS after the MP series in the 2005 brochure so I copied the list in the order it was printed.

Oh that just complete p*sh, it took me nearly a year of trying rackets to pick the AT700 and now it's going  Does that mean the end is nigh for the range??

Any information on the clobber guys? I need some new shirts ;)

Central sports is advertising the NS7000 and SHB99 but no piccies of them.

Last year the stuff hit my local "Yonex rep connected" shop on the Monday after the All England in limited quantities (in other words some of the stuff Central couldn't sell at the AE was siphoned off), I wonder when it will hit this year

did anyone who looked at the cab30ms and the catalogue at the all england notice this?

the cab30ms on display was a "3ug3" but the advertised cab30ms in the catalogue was a "2ug3". also the one on display was definately marked "UK" so i was wondering which one is to be released in uk?!

i assume it will b the 2u version as stated in the catalogue rather then the display model at the all england
