sorry.. i am new to this board.. and tried my best to search for an answer before posting.. we got into a situation, where a mis-communication between the two partner (during double).. and we both went for the shuttle.. I didn't hit the shuttle and my partner hitted it and successfully returned it the opposite side.. but i couldn't stop on time and my racket hitted his racket... is this legal? or does this result in a fault? thanks,
as long there no ''double touch'' long time ago i player against a guy who called me a fault because i touched the bottom of the net after the bird where on the ground, we need to stop searching trouble anywere, we are not lawyer
thanks for all the reply.. allow me to ask one more question: how about a more classic situation.. partner A and partner B are both going for the shuttle.. and partner A hit the shuttle, and partner B hit partner A racket from behind at the same time.. almost like partner B pushed partner A racket and launched the shuttle to the other side. now in this incident.. really partner B racket never touched the shuttle. But partner B action might have affected the outcome of the shuttle. is that legal?
Perfectly legal, as long as B doesn't create a carry on A racket (although I've never seen this happened before).
