I watched the replay for a few times and really think that the Indonesian did double hit. But double hit or not, it already happened and whatever we say here can't really change anything.
I know, but Daren didn't have to play in the selection. Since his form wasn't good enough, he shouldn't have been selected. Anyway, that's water under the bridge now.
The 20-21 one that we discussed, actually ZN and ZYL complained to the umpire that the Indonesian did the double hit, then they pointed to the audience because they wanted that man to show a video he was recording to the umpire. And yes, we can't change anything.
Ahhh..so many disappointments!!! Pv n kashyap lost by a whisker...srikanth upseted again!!... I pray for jwala/ashwini to win...atleast somebody should give company to saina....
another former WJC champion bites the dust... first is Kento Momoda, now Tian Houwei... later will Viktor Axelsen be with them...?!
THW is like two different players in the 1st set and the 3rd. Sadly, he joins Kento M and a few others on a one-round trip.
Han Li threw away a good lead in the 1st set, 17-13 at one point, to go out 21-19 in the end. Try harder in G2.
Tian houwei hasnt improved. He hasnt got a clue how to play CWF. Can you say he is world class material? I certainly dont think so Please LYB bring on some new young chinese players. Its getting pretty disappointing with the current batch.
thanks for the info. Anyone notice that Kevin ran out rackets at the end of 2nd set, his partner lend him a yonex racket. Hehehe
Game over for Han Li. It's up to her junior teammate Sun Yu to take up the mantle tomorrow, hope to catch the match on livestream Ct 1 or 2.
Lin Dan not playing? Back to holidaying and/or secret training camp I guess hehe. Doesn't need to peak until 2016 Rio anyway. By the way, are people here taking Akane Yamaguchi seriously yet? I predicted she would be top 10 by the end of the year. Even if this doesn't happen, she is clearly playing like a top 10-er. She nearly beat Li Xuerui last week (was unlucky to draw her in "1st round" after qualifying). Shortly she will play Ratchanok (current world no. 6) whom she's already beaten before earlier this year. I'd bet she wins again too.
Looking back, Kristina GAVNHOLT was leading virtually all the way in G2 - 11-5, 15-9,18-12 , 20-18 - with LXR before the latter come from behind to close out the set and take the match. Wonder if LXR is feeling a bit jaded after the previous week's exploit.
Can Intanon avenge her previous defeat on Akane Y? The answer will be done soon, within the next hour or so.
Akane's court movement and coverage is very good, retrieving ability impressive and now she's even attacking from the baseline; that makes her even more dangerous. But surprisingly, Hana gave her a close fight yesterday.
