It's our 327th Wednesday Social Games Session at MSAC (after we have moved here permanently); and it will be our 33rd for this year (2014). We do a 'Buy-in List':- (1) To welcome BadmintonCentral members to attend. (2) To ensure that players who have bought a place shall not be turned away. (3) To ensure that we have enough games for all players, it is best not to exceed 14 players. Hope that our 'Buy-in List' can be finalised by Monday. MSAC requires us to confirm our court-booking 24 hours before our session starts; and we wish to have 24 hours' notice before we organise/hire our courts from MSAC. Reminder: If you cannot attend, you will need to be removed ASAP, otherwise you will need to pay the session fee. Why? Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 03-Sep-2014 (A short report) . Here is a short report for our Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 03-Sep-2014. * It's our 327th Wednesday Night Social Games Session at MSAC (after we have moved here permanently); and it's our 33rd for this year (2014). * We thank CCCers for removing themselves when unable to attend (therefore allowing others to join in). As you know by now, if you have bought-in and didn't show, you will still need to pay for the session fee. Why? Because you have prevented others from taking your place (as CCCers do check in at the last hours). We hire courts from MSAC based on how many CCCers have bought-in; And MSAC charges our court fees if we cancel our courts within 24 hours before our session starts. * We welcomed 1 new player, Niamh-C, Jesz-C's friend. Hope that she had enjoyed playing with us. * With 14 players attending, we used 2 courts (from 7:30pm to 10:00pm). * We have now arrived at the start of our Spring Season (Sep, Oct, Nov). No Reserve List anymore . A current CCCer asked: What is the 'Reserve List' all about? Answer: Years ago, CCCer could reserve a slot/place after we had arrived at "FULL HOUSE". He/she would be added in automatically when someone was removed later. Now we are saying:- No 'Reserve List' anymore. CCCers are to watch out for late withdrawals yourselves. No more automatic inclusion will be performed. Why? Too much trouble to monitor and/or to do it that way. .
