WZM is the nearly man. He's been in this kind of situation before a couple of times but apparently he never learn to stay focused and intense all the way.

    You're not wrong, Justin.

The stories within this build it up, too. WZM is fighting against some fairly brutal criticism with the intention of legitimising himself, while Chou Tien Chen is an unseeded David from a small badminton nation.

CTC has made at least one new big fan. I look forward to getting to know CTC better because I can see myself adding him to my favourite players list real soon.

Change from attack style systematic training to rallying style has destroyed everyone barring Chen Long...
Gone are the days where random Chinese players like Zhu Weilun or Zhou Wenlong can beat any pros on their day.

Even Chen Jin was more attacking than most of these new players

WZM played wrong tactic on that last point. Why play so tight a margin on the smash when match point down?

WZM, if you really want to carry on and even aim for Rio as you've said earlier, do you know what you must do to realize your talents, do you know where your problem lies ?

Probably the former. Those that start off with a great smash tend to rely on that more and they don't have to think around court so much. But when the going gets tough and the opponent returns the smash, they falter.

Congratulations to Chou from Chinese Taipei for the very first victory in a SuperSeries class tournament in a great, very entertaining match full of drama :) You deserve it.

And to Wang, don't be down by this defeat. Keep on improving, among other polishing your net plays.
