I tried to use my friend's Nano 9900 which is a 4U racket in a few games. I feel that I can generate more power through my swing. I had try to swing L60 with no string in the shop before, it give me quite a good feel,I think through it's 3U weight and stiff shaft.

I use 25lbs tension, is it too high?

    Hi there,

Strung at 24-25 lbs is a reasonable tension and very unlikely will be the cause of the snap especially if it is a new racket and furthermore at 7 o'clock. No doubt that one of many reason for such scenario to occur is having the incorrect tension specification applied to the racket head but like many other Apacs racket, they have one of the most solid and durable frame head design that can withstand huge vibration and strung at higher value i.e like my Tantrum 200 which i strung at 30 lbs ( and sometime at 32 lbs), i have no issue of such scenario to happen even after engaging in many massive clashes for this many years.

IMHO for one sure thing is that there is a weak point at that particular area that lead to such scenario to happen and this will be some of the possible probability :

    - Undetected defect at the area of snap prior to purchasing
    - Defect that occur from poor stringing technique
    - Poor racket care that weakens the head frame integrity (extreme heat exposure etc)
    - Defect that may occur from any previous clashes

    SS

AVP is really good and I find it a lot quicker than t200/300. I used the AVP for a few months and it was a very good all round racket for doubles.

I used three for 3-4 months without a problem. They were strung at 26lbs so not too high tension. I have 2 minor clashes and didn't break, just minor paint marks.

Ok...perhaps I will consider AVP hahahaha...but is it stiff like T200? I like AVP weight cause I think T200 is kinda make my arm little sore after playing for period of time... but it if a good racquet...so thumbs up Apacs for T200

It didn't feel as heavy or stiff as the t200/300 to me. I could play for 2/3 without any pain and I have a bad shoulder that hurts when I use head heavy/stiff rackets.

I had the T200 and broke it without clashing it. Just that the frame broke. What I remember was that it was less heavier and stiffer that my Lethal 60. Was a nice one for doubles. Now for doubles I could use the Lethal 18 maybe.
Too bad, I had an offer for 2x Tantrum's 500 at a bargain price. I missed because of my birthday preparation. Now I need to look for another bargain :)
I still have 2x Apacs Virtuoso Performance which are not bad but need more power to get the feather in the back of the court.

Recently i got the chance to tried several Apacs racket.. in my preference order.. Finapi 88, Virtuoso 10, Lethan 10, Z Ziggler.. I must say Zinggler is a huge disappointment.. Finapi 88 is closely matched with Yonex nanoray z-speed.. definitely worth the money spent
