Perhaps the assistance of a greater pool of expertise can help :) (as said by Saina)

I'd love to see badminton bollywood movie. But don't they usually have tales of relationships and intrigue to spice things up? Who will play the role of romantic interest?

    SAINA LAUNCHES BADMINTON ACADEMY

Really good to see her opening an academy to take this sport to next level in her career. All eyes would be in her academy now. No need to say about its future. Definitely gonna hit the area ... Hoping to see more QUALITY players from it. Thanks saina for taking such an effort.. so many players come and go, but only few want to give their life to it. Saina is one of them.. kudos to you..

Isn't Saina still under that 40cr deal management? What is that management even doing though? Does Saina even have a PR manager or team? If yes then he/they is/are doing some horrendous job out there.

its not the first time she said anything controversial. But this time it got a wide attention and was not just limited to this forum. Hope she finally learn from this and choose her words with care next time. She need a team with her which tell her what to say and how.

" Walk the talk" video interview with saina nehwal. She spoke everything from her childhood and about her training with coach vimalkumar etc. Even she spoke about the latest controversy regarding the padma award. It's in clear english. Anybody can listen to it. She even spoke about chinese system , chinese players especially li xuerui. I just wanted to share it here.

    That was a nice interview.
Regarding the padma issue I am with the interviewer here. I don't see why an award should matter so much. But that said, Saina also has fair point because it was the media more than anything that created the controversy by making a mountain out of a mole.

BTW, I am getting bored already. When is the next badminton tournament featuring Indian stars?
I know that Saina is probably not going to compete before the next Superseries, but what about Srikanth and Sindhu?
When is the Syed Modi ? Will Srikanth and Sindhu participate in that?
And what about IBL? When is it?

Malaysian GPG starts on the 13th of Jan and the India GPG will be held in the following week. Sindhu and Srikanth will be playing in both the tournaments. Saina will be playing only at the India GPG.

Check out the 2015 tournament calendar http://bwfbadminton.org/tournamentcalendar.aspx?id=103

Congratulations to Saina for wiining the Syed Modi India GPG.
It was a really great and intense match. It seems to me that Carolina is back. She played at a similar level to how she did in the world championships. It was a very close match indeed.

I am a little disappointed with Sindhu, though. She lost to Nozomi and Carolina, and against Carolina Marine she didn't even manage to put any pressure.

P.S: Saina is now #3. (But I don't think it will change with this win)

Congratulations to Saina for her convincing victory against Wang Yihan.
It was really nice to see her calm.
Also, I think the previous match against Kim Hyo Min helped her get into form.
Best of luck to Saina for the Title.

I must say, Saina has improved a lot. She was more focused. She had better skills in general.

Loved the way she demolished WY in the second game. I had stopped believing that Saina would ever be able to defeat YW but she seems slimmer, fitter, faster and invincible. Cudos to the hard work.

Best chance for her to win All England this year. Next is Sun yu which was not at all playing well but won because stupid ratnachanon lost her focus in 2nd and 3rd set . Next she will meet either carolina or tai tzu . Carolina would be easy but tai tzu will be difficult . Seeing the current form Tai tzu should not be as difficult .

Tai is her biggest nemesis. Saina has been finding it difficult to crack her. But this new rejuvinated Saina is a lethal. Hope she wins the title.
