Thanks for the reference. Are there some brave sword 12's that have the red grommets? or does all bs 12 have black grommets. I always thought they had red on the outside too. That is the only thing I am confused about.

Is the normal BS12 blue. Tried KRP version which a friend bought recently.
Felt lighter in overall weight and even balance swing like BS-LHI.
The shaft flex more than mine too. Not sure if the recent release KRP is not as stiff or head heavy compared to previous batches.

Diff batch diff specs maybe?? Other members who owned prev batch KRP said to be stiffer and head heavier. The one i tested measures 285 bp with an overgrip over original grip. Mine measures the same but with additional double shrink wrap on :p

So, reading victor malaysia facebook, the red grommet is considered original, but some can also be an imitation.

No. Genuine BS12 (blue) has the red grommet that are red on inside but black on the outside.

Fake BS12 has solid red grommets.

    You've misunderstood what it means.

On an original BS12 (blue), when you pull the red grommets out, the head of the grommet is black, but the stem is red. On a fake, it is 100% red.

I understand now, but someone asked about the side grommets being red. If you read Loh Brandon's post, he asks about it. At first that was my confusion.

    Thanks for the help everyone.

After much consideration, I finally jump into the Victor bandwagon with my Brave Sword 12L.

Can't wait to try it out, what is the string and tension you guys normally use for BS12? I string it with 66Ultimax & 25lbs is it ok?

Best advice I can give is go with your usual string and tension set up. Only change if it isn't working.

    Depends on individual, really...

For choice of string, ZyMax-62Fire is worth considering...

    MagicElite or any Sifu here

Sorry to bring this up again as I was offerred a Taiwan coded BS12 Blue. Everything looks legit from engraved serial code, butt cap has no Taiwan wording, racket has "Made in China" engraved, decals all in correct place etc etc.

Referring to the picture are we saying that the new batch of BS12 Blue have grommets which are red from head till end or black head but red inside?
Just wanted to make sure I'm not buying a fake. This is so confusing as I've gone to a few shops but they have their BS12 blue in red on the head.

Thanks for confirmation or more information..
