I'll second that, slightly less power but by no means a light hitter. It's the heaviest hitting "speed" racquet I've used.
I'll second that. I've never had a racket with this design type of frame that ever transferred energy into a smash this efficiently. There's always been some kind of loss or just peak which the racket can hit. Big plus is also just how stable Pyrofil has made it. There's a noticeable difference they've quantified in their advertisement of it and I really do believe the material truly works.
Boy... oh, boy... u guys r so tempting me to just get it... { *.*} ...but I must say I go by the motto: I get rackets to play badmtn, not I play badmtn to get rackets... { Y.Y} ...otherwise, I'll go broke... At the moment, am pretty satisfied with my TK-9ooo. Just nd to polish up on my skills... lately, level has dipped... horribly [ ♢.♢] It will b justifiable for me to get one when TK-9900 n HyperNano-800 r out... otherwise would b having extra 3-4 new rackets before year end...
Then hold off for either of those bro my next plan is now the Bao and then wait and what will be released next. Somehow I'm really keen on the YYS if they release it. The paintwork is great and I really love that blue too. String pattern is a big plus too.
Idk about shiny LNs. I never was a fan of the LN designs and colors tbh. But the blue alone is just amazing.
Indeed. But the box frame is pretty stable already. But in all fairness it does have a very thin shaft and that could easily add to lower torsional stability.
So I played my usual doubles session today and I was feeling a bit lethargic and played a more passive counter-attacking style. I must say, I felt like a brick wall. Maybe my form was just better today, but it felt like nothing was getting past me. When I first started out with this racket, its maneuverability when defending was good, but slower than when I was using the BS10. I think the physical demand to use the JS10 effectively has trained my arm sufficiently so that it now feels even a bit faster than the BS10. The other thing is that it is so much easier to get good length from smash defence with the JS10 because of greater swing weight. The BS10 was fast, but it never felt easy to get opponents' smashes to the back of the court. The swing weight was lacking and I had to put a fair amount of effort in to generate the necessary racket-head speed to get the shuttle far back enough. No such problem with the JS10 though. So all in all, the racket has sort of opened up new dimensions to my game. I've never been happier with a racket purchase and my only dilemma now is how many of them I should invest in.
Even balanced 4Us are pretty ordinary imho. My preference is for head heavy 4Us because they have the best combo of speed and back court punch. If the JS10 carries more swing weight, then I'm not surprised it felt punchier than your BS10.
Mine arrived after only 3 days from Eric! Now gripped and ready for my game on Sunday! Strung with BG80 White/Sky blue to 27lbs
freewilly why are you selling? If I may ask. Just wondering if/why you didn't get on with it.
I never said it wasn't weird I simply though it was pretty. Either way I moved on to red because they're much easier to grip and feel better and slightly more cushy. I'm debating on Blue or Purple next just because I got 1 of each in my next batch
