Thanks! When BAC was in China last time, there were streaming on cntv.cn. Something similar will likely be available again. CCTV-5 will broadcast the later rounds, I think.
The revamped BAC has significantly raised its tournament status, what with BWF equating it to a Superseries level earning equivalent ranking points. I won't be surprised it one day becomes regarded as a major championship for all the Asian member associations/countries, just as the multi-sport Asian Games is. After all, most of the best players in the world are in Asia, often the top three ranking in each discipline. In line with its elevated status, the prize money, currently USD 200K, will also grow bigger over time.
Srikanth said he was “Unhappy to withdraw from such a prestigious event . I have been playing in a lot of tournaments in the last five-six weeks. Also, I have a pain in the shin. I am hoping to be fit to play in next year's BAC,”
Full name of this tournament : Dong Feng Citroen Badminton Asia Championships 2015 I could not find this tournament on tournamentsoftware.com in first attempt. Here is the link https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=884CC75F-B49A-4425-9D95-7A43E840DD07
Dongfeng and citroen/peueot have now a complex relationship. Until last year there was a 50-50 collaboration for the citroen cars produced and sold in China, but then Dongfeng (which is a huge motor company) bought 20% of Citroen/Peugoet, the mother company in France.
Citroen have been a sponsor for Team China for quite some time now. You can see their logo on the tee shirt. Not as buttery as the famous cookies...

probably injury... Better not to take risk if he was injured because he is the #1 MS in his team for the upcoming SC.
