I have inside info that the paint job will be all blue on this new beast.

I assume it will have a diamond-shaped profile, but will the shaft extend as the match gets more intense?

It starts soft to let you warm up and then stiffens up as things get more intense.

The jokes against "Glanz" makes me remember how people talks about "pad" when it was introduced.

Hahaha. my colleague sitting next to me was wondering why I was laughing.. Stiffest Shaft Ever.. lol

Seriously, I have a NR900 now and it's hard to even convince me to try GlanZ.

I got my Nanoray GlanZ today and played a couple games. Compared to my Carlton Airblade Tour and SuperLite, it's slightly heavier than the SuperLite but the shots were more accurate and it felt really good to clear and smash with.

I've just seen this racket in the flesh, and it has pretty amazing paintwork. Reminds me of the NR800, taken one notch down, and without the ugly silver cone.

Just a quick bending ("live flex text") of the frame and shaft feels really solid, I'm sure it can take far, far beyond the 22lbs. Swing feels good too. Feels like a more forgiving version of the NR900.

Had they named it something else, it might have saved itself a bit of ridicule, and become quite a success.

I think it's quite spitefull and disqualifies the authors to bash this racket without having it tested.

Of course all these people are exquisite players, almost pros, and of course they all are young and healthy.

But on the other side, maybe they'll get older as well, and maybe they'll suffer from injuries one day, too.

Maybe they'll quit playing badminton then, but maybe they'll be grateful then that a producer developped a racket especially for those ... !

So please, be fair an get yourself a test racket and play it for some time and write a reallistic review before writing such slating reviews !

    Joachim.

    P. S.: I don't mind any paintwork, I want to play a racket !

Do you have sand in your pants?

People have criticised the price and the silly marketing, none have said the racquet is rubbish.

Correct me if I am wrong . Is not their tons of racket with light head and flexible shaft for beginners , weak , womens around ? Why thank for this only ? Do you think a player can do a backhand clear with this racket and end up hitting half court with other ?

Absolutely not ! But I don't like bashing.

No one has to buy this racket. And it's colour is IMVHO a matter of taste and therefore nothing to dispute.

But as I mentioned earlier, it appeals to me that hardly anyone has layed a hand on it, much less has ever played this racket. So what van they contribute here ?

That's got nothing to do with constructive critizism, but bashing.

I really am eager to read the first serious review.

    Joachim.

Got NANORAY GZ 4U5G. Initial trial out opinions
    Comparing to NANORAY ZSP
    1. Clear easier and effortless. Give me 1 feet advantage (longer)
    2. Defense. Blocking and receiving. Much better than all existing rackets.
    3. Backhand clear, give me 1 feet longer
    4. Drive same as other head light rackets
    4. Smash, weird. Give me VT70 kind of feel, which I do not like.
Smash is executed poorly among all the rackets I have
    (NS3000, NR-ZSP, NR-900, NR750, VTZF2,1) Power could not
appkied in the smash, more like drive, and it;s kind of hard to
    get shuttle going downward.

Still, I like it and I will get my smash adjusted to it, because my main strength is smash.
