Hmmm, interesting... all this time I've occasionally played with it I've always assumed it was goose feathers, but it's duck?! In that case Hang Yu #1 is goose and is a better deal?
It's minimum 25 tubes/total not per individual and price is definitely going to be lower than what's being retailed for right now. Apparently Victor Canada raised their prices due to the weak loonie. I don't know whether it's duck or goose feather but has always assume that it is goose feathers.
at one point a year or two back, Victor made a change to their lineup. they introduce the Master line which replaced the Champion line, and the Champion line got bumped down a level. kinda like brand inflation. so god knows what they did with the feather.
Hmmm... yeah, it used to be goose but now it's duck. I'm sure it's good quality duck, but problem is now I'll need to retest a few to make sure of the durability and flight and feel quality before committing a large order. Hang Yu #1 is goose and can be had for cheaper... have you considered that? But mind you, recently had a few tubes of that that did not seem to have passed QC.
