I don't think so. Indonesia's best chance to steal points are from MD, XD, WD. Why would they take a very risky strategy by field Liliyana in two categories? In addition I'm pretty sure Liliyana doesn't have enough stamina to play twice.

    Neither do I.

What I cant understand was why they dont put the same group in the same time of play ??
CHNvsGER and INAvsTPE in thursday then match by KORvsMAS and DENvsJPN in the next day.

The pressure of having to win this game seems to much for the Japanese WD.

How much rest does Line L get between her WS and now WD when the regulation only guarantees 30 minutes minimum? Yet some people take issue with a team who has about 20 hrs break vs another who has more? Ask any professional player how many hours is enough and whether more would make any difference?

If you look closely at the below schedules:

    12 MAY (Day 3)
    China vs Thailand
    Japan vs Chinese Taipei

    13 MAY (Day 4)
    Indonesia vs Denmark
    Korea vs India

    14 MAY (Day 5 - QF)
    China vs Germany
    Korea vs Malaysia

    15 MAY (Day 6 - QF)
    Indonesia vs Chinese Taipei
    Denmark vs Japan

And if INA had to play the QF vs TPE yesterday (14 May), there might be complaint that it was not fair that TPE got extra day for rest but INA had to play successively.

There is simply no good solution unless the tournament is extended one more day, but it's a cost matter.

Denmark must be laughing their heads off if they managed to upset Japan without their full lineup, not even in MS ... which just makes the job so much easier for Korea..

Well, nothing's decided and who knows Matsumoto/Takahashi will stage a strong comeback.

Line/Sara enjoying their underdog 'advantage' with most of the pressure on the fancied JPN pair. G1 taken, half way there for DEN.

Whatever the final result, I commend the performance of the Danish pair. :D
