Thanks for the insight, but are you referring to the international BS12 or the Korean version of it? I have an international version and I have to say I'm completely useless with it. At least my wallet won't suffer if it is the case though.
By your measurements only by 5mm. Not exactly a big difference especially with a difference of 2g in overall weight. Plus the frame design of the HX is beefier and I expect less loss of power if compared to the JS10. I'm honestly gonna chalk up you view on the power difference to being either a string thing or that the JS10 just suits your swing better and not that it actually gives better power. No offence intended if any but it's just my view from years of experience with too many rackets and strings. I really do appreciate your taking time to share your views.
I had a Taiwanese, Canadian version....I would say that HX800 has the speed on the BS12 with more power and fell more solid...hope this will help
no worry!!!! I am not the best person for reviewing racquet, my go to racquet is still my XP-70...heee...need more time of this HX800
Are you using a 5u ?? That's a change of million of decades for you moving from rackets weighing 86.78967 gms.
Everybody, don't forget that in the Sudirman cup, the MAS WD pair used HX800 while the MD pair used JS10. That in itself will tell you about stiffness and head heaviness...
Jung Kyung Eun was also using the JS10, but I have been less than impressed with her performance this past week, especially from the rear court. Maybe she, like me, is having trouble getting the desired power out of her smashes.
Yep, we've already established that it'll most likely be between MX60 and MX90 on the Victor racket map a few pages ago.
Haha... but seriously I had to switch from 4U to 5U because with the 4U I was hitting out the baseline most of the time...
Hehe. I've gone the other way and got the heaviest 4U that Eric has! Will have an idea of how it plays soon. So far, this HX-800 isn't convincing me, although will wait for more reviews (especially from MX80 users). The fact that Son Wan Ho is using MX80 still (when we know he should have HX-800 in his bag) is also cause for concern hehe.
Then it's time to learn to adjust to different shuttle speeds or you should increase your 18lbs job by a few lbs.
