Looks like TK9900 if I'm reading the Chinese right. Wouldn't make sense to be the HX800 since they've already released all the marketing for it.

I thought of that too. It means brute force in chinese. Should we make a new thread?

Eh..just drop it in the TK9900 thread first. No point making a new thread and having it end up being useless.

Np. It's been buried for a couple of days since there's been no news of it yet.

Ya, just by looking at the HX800 on MBS, the BP is lower than the JJS, MX80 and the MX90, no doubt it is more towards even balanced.

All of those rackets ARE even balanced at circa 300-305. That's what I was kinda hoping for with the HX800 :(

Have to say this thing is coming in a LOT cheaper than I thought it would. In Asia, at least; god knows how much Victor Europe are going to slather on top by the time it gets here.

The mystery racket is bound to be the 9900, by the way - no way an HX would be called "brute force".

It might be getting better - £139 for a JS-10 isn't that terrible.

Yeah. But you gets still get the short end of the stick in terms of products variety and release.

    All sounds promising!

Is this racquet going to be less stiff and slower than a JS10?

It is. Frame has more drag but none of it bad.

Ah this is what I think I'm looking for!

Was considering the JS09 line-up but I can't gauge what it's like since the popularity of this racquet is shadowed of it's younger brother JS10

I have to agree with Ch1k0. I was fortunate to have the opportunity for one of my customers to bring the HX800 to string. It was previously owned by BC user wning.

(no string and one layer of plastic wrap) Specs: 3UG5 with dry weight: 85.3g BP: 293.7mm.
    Strung with YY BG-80 at 27 x 29 pound.

I only got to do some swings in my condo after stringing it.
    (Background info: I currently use the following set of rackets: 5 x Victor JJS 3U + 3 x JS S10 4U + 1 x TK9000 3U)

Here were my short impressions without hitting the shuttle.
I own a 4U JS 10 with specs of 84.2g and an identical BP of 293.7mm. When swinging them each you can definitely tell that the HX800 is
    1) less stiff than the JS10
    2) has a slower swing speed than the JS 10

    The 3U HX800 was awfully light for a 3U. I would've classified it as a 4U.
The head shape of the HX800 was more normally sized (fat bottom) like the Braveswords.
The color scheme and matte finish makes the racket a definite eye catcher.

Given the rackets i currently use i would probably stick to my existing setup and wouldn't consider buying it. Why: if i want that solid all round feel and good attacking play i'll stick to my JJS (i use it for singles too). If a doubles game gets a little too quick for me to keep up, the JS 10 gives me that added edge in defense and doesn't compromise too much from the power side.

It's too bad i couldn't get a chance to hit with it. I'm sure the racket will sell well but it wasn't good enuf for me to dethrone either the JJS or the JS 10 on either side of the spectrum.

I guess that makes it an all round racket =)

Wning, you've made a heck of a lot of assumptions based on just swinging a racket around your condo. You're heavily invested in your current racket set up, so all you've really managed to illustrate is that the HX800 is not for you, because it doesn't feel similar enough to your JJS.

Which is great for you and anyone else using a JJS, but useless information for everyone else.

I think we already know the HX is designed as an all-rounder.
