so I've been using a 4U ZF2 for singles and doubles. I find that it is a fast racket to use if i am the one on offense and blocking the smashes are easy too. However, during fast drive rallies or if blocking becomes predictable then I'm at a disadvantage. With this racket i also find hard to do deceptive cut drops which i want in my game. I've narrowed it down to BS12 and a BS10 because I need the speed in doubles. Which BS is faster and better for doubles and some singles if my ZF2 is slow in certain singles playing fast?

I agree with ownz.uno's assessment that the BS10 is one fine racket.

I have the regular BS12 as well, but haven't had the chance to string it up and play with it yet. I also play with the KRP BS12, but I tend to favor the BS10 over the KRP since the former is more solid. If I were to buy one, I would have no question about which model to get (BS10).

Yeah, but the problem is BS10 is like digging a gold nowadays. Really hard to find. :(

I sold my bs12. My friend sold his bs12. That should say alot. LOL.

If u are used to stiff racket and use lotsa wrist, I'd recommend bs10.

Wow. I thought vzf2 4u was improvement on vzf1 especially on defense. I was tempted to buy vzf2 a couple of times. Luckily, i didn't. What fun doubles would be without fast rallies and rebounding smash defense? Lol.

well dont get me wrong. The ZF2 is an improvement over the ZF1 especially on defense, but its just me that cannot weild it at speed i want. Thank you for your thoughts on the BS 10

As a BS10 user and somebody who gave the BS12 several chances, I would go for the BS10. IMO the BS12 is the better defender and a bit quicker due the lower head weight, but for power shots, the BS12 isn't my cup of tee. I also play singles with the BS10 without any issues. Actually alot of BC members hype the JS10 as the holy grail. Maybe you can give it a try.

JS10 4U would definitely be good to try if you want something slightly faster and more maneuverable than ZF2 4U.

I've got a BSC and a X2 and understand where you are coming from in terms of the ZF! I can't comment on the BS10 but the 12 has been my racquet of choice throughout this season for doubles and has held up marvelously. I can't say I've ever suffered with a lack of power from the racquet and the head speed ensures that the racquet is always ready (even if I'm not).

I'd like to add that I'm taking delivery of the JS 10 tomorrow so will update on how it compares to my brave!
