That's totally not comparable to brave sword since the frame & structure it's totally different things.
That's why i said it's Closest to BS12 but doesn't mean same as BS12. ;) Btw, How do you figure out it's less aerodynamics ?

Frame and structure are totally different. Even without being a physicist when you swing it the sound you hear cutting through the air and it is clearly not as sharp which indicates greater air resistance. Plus I still don't think this comes close to any BS12. Nothing does except the JS Bao and JS Natsir. This thing may be a MX replacement by design but it's clearly a better replacement for the SW line to me.

Well, Different player different feel maybe.
I still feel it's close to my BS12 Blue 3U. (Hold & swinging my own BS12) :p
I don't think it's MX replacement as well. It has nothing similar to MX series. Maybe that little diamond structure on top of the frame. :D

The Ahmad feels a lot heavier compared to JS10 and Hx800 in my opinion. My 4u Ahmad felt like a heavy 3u. It would be very good for singles or an attacking doubles player.
The Hx800 doesn't feel as fast as JS or BS frames to me but is a little more stable like SW and MX frames. The Hx800 is a very good all round racket.

I think pink might be a step too far!!! I only normally use BG80 string so I'm limited to those colours.

So Ch1k0 , what's your assessment of the racket? Even though it doesn't fit your style, what's the closest racket, Victor or Yonex, that it plays like?

Are you sure it's not a current injury you have that's contributing to the pain? Or does switching to any other racket not bother your deltoid at all? If so, that is indeed very bizarre.

very bizarre indeed,

i get that pain only with HH and stiff racquets like

4U ZF2, 4U TK9000...

Surprisingly none with VT80 4U

This racquet is still on my scopes..

Closest victor would be a cross between the SW37 and 36. For Yonex I'd say Arc11 with that feeling of head weight like a Z Speed.
I haven't had an anterior deltoid problem from badminton ever. It's always been the rotary cuff which hasn't bothered me for months now. After switching away from the HX800 to anything else in my bag I had no problem. But the soreness is already there.

I'd have to agree, even swinging the HX800 around the shop, if felt more like a Superwaves than anything else. It has that overall stiff and solid feel with even balance, a bit like a JJS perhaps? The paint is very pretty :)

Don't take this the wrong way, but the fact that it's hurt your shoulder makes me more interested:)

Nah it's alright. It's just freakin weird. I've never had a bat that's not even what I'd call really stiff do this to my shoulder before.

You know me - if it's too much hard work for mere mortals, it's usuall up my street.

Wonder if I can borrow one to try at 32/33. With BG80. With plastics.

Frankly it's about time badminton became an extreme sport.
