If Lin Dan wins this year's World Championship and next year's Olympic, then he won't be GOAT anymore,he will be GOD and also the ultimate sportsperson ever.

Ah, like Fan123 said... it was about LD not caring too much about his form before the WC because he knows he just needs to time it right, so that he is playing his best then.

In that case you should wait a few thousand years. If LD still wins, you can term him blessed. He is not even 40. I don't think he is the eldest champion ever in fact. Anyone with the stats?

    Chong Wei dyes hair Blue

Chong Wei and 21 other Malaysian shuttlers left for Jakarta yesterday but it was the malaysian shuttler who stood out with his light blue coloured hair.

“I dyed my hair ,my hair had turned grey over the last few days,” he said.

Speaking on World Championship, the malaysian said:

"This is the first time I’m not seeded for the world championships. I’m the underdog this time ,there’ll be less pressure on me."

“Previously, I prepared for the world meet without a chief coach. This time, I have Morten, Hendrawan and Tey Seu Bock behind me. We have had better preparation and analysis. There have been more discussions about my game and my opponents’. I have improved – physically and mentally.”

According to him, is that the men’s singles competition will not be all about him and five-time world champion Lin Dan of China.

Chong Wei feels that Japan’s Kento Momota, India’s K. Srikanth, Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto and Taiwan’s Chen Chou-tien are capable of ruffling some feathers.

“I think, it will be one of the most interesting tournaments in recent times, it will be quite open,” said Chong Wei.

Forget about last year... imagine if LCW actually won the World Championships in 2014... only to get stripped of the medal and title, and ranking points... just saying...

Just noticed that BWF didn't include Lin Dan in their World Championships cover

However,The Olympic Games thought that ain't wise enough to do

Maybe because Lining is co-sponsoring the event and LD is sponsored by Yonex... But then that wouldn't make sense because there are several Yonex sponsored athletes on the cover

    Absolutely!!!
They gave so importance to Indian Hockey even though we are doing so poor these days!!
I thought it could've been Sushil Kumar (but whatever happened with Wrestling isn't good) looking at Brazil India relations atleast one Indian deserves to be there..
But I am in a dilemma that why isn't any men footballer!! Neymar for say
