Toalson ION 65 Diameter : 0.65 mm Recently have strung customer rackets using this strings more than 50 packs in a week, this string have feeling almost like bg66 and repulsion like 66ultimax. for durability more than BG66. about USD 4 - 5 per packs. Anyone have try this ?
After a brief warm up, 3 singles and 1 doubles matches here are my thoughts on ION 65: -Repulsion is superb, definitely comparable with BG66UM -Bouncy (when doing drop shots) than BG66UM (needed to adjust my service and drops because of this) -Sounds like a solid whip crack when it's smashing time. But sometimes produces weird sound that makes me immediately look at it to see if I already broke it XD. -The string is fairly smooth, but gives a decent bite (average control) -Soft to medium feeling, very arm friendly I need at least a week to see if its tension retention and durability are also good. Overall, I am glad that I tried the string. Possibly my go to string if the tension retention and durabilty is also decent. So far I like it more than my favorites ZM67/65 and NS70. Very budget friendly too )
I got a pack of toalson devil 66 and ion 65 for testing, I used to play with bg 66u, nano 98 and Gosen Gt5, I'd read some reviews about toalson devil 66 and ion 65, but very few infos about tension retension for those 2 strings, how are they compare to yonex thin strings and gosen Gt5, I play with 25-26 lbs tension. should i keep the same tension for new strings or ,,, thanks
