Oh thanks for reminding me of the MP99 which I feel it was the worst high end racket Yonex ever produced, the accuracy level is simply disappointing for such expensive racket. OK I admit I strung it at 25 lbs with BG66 which may be the real culprit but hey, it was the most expensive racket at that time alrite.

You are entitled to your ow opinion but has it occurred it might be you.

I too purchased the mp99 and hated it. But accepted it was just not suitable for me.

with so many users and it attaining amost a legendary status must mean it was a great racket.

Its funny how some people love the MP99 and some hate it. I personally love my MP99 and have tried desperately to find a replacement due to me only have 2 MP99's left from 5. If anyone has any real life suggestions...i would love to hear them.

I just sent them an email....thats pretty expensive for a racquet converted to US dollars...about $250, but i would gladly pay for it.

    Thanks.

I'm a bit skeptical about this, if it's Taufik and Gade's signature rackets why does it have Lin Dan's logo on it.. seems like a scam to me

Hm...I had noticed that the first post was mentioning that the release date was mid May 2015 and I noticed that my racquet is being listed as being made in April...I suppose that IS valid? Could anyone please confirm?

    Thanks in advance :)

I've also seen on the forum someone's ZF2 with 2013 code even though ZF2 came out early 2014. Don't worry

I recently picked up a ZF2 LD yellow 4U G5. I'm comparing this to my regular black/blue ZF2 in 3U G5. To my surprise, both felt to have equal swing weight. So I took out my scale and measured the overall racquet weight, head weight, and handle weight. I also removed the grip down to the wood handle, just to ensure there are no difference due to my grip layering (this is why I have very low weight number). Both have Aerosonic strings. Here are my results:

    ZF2 3U G5 regular (SP version)
    Overall weight 77.87g
    Head weight 41.0g
    Handle weight 37.41g

    ZF2 4U G5 LD (CD version)
    Overall weight 74.43g
    Head weight 40.86g
    Handle weight 33.84

So no surprise, overall racquet weight in the 4U LD is 3g lighter than the 3U regular, however what is surprising is that this is almost entirely due to a lighter handle in the 4U LD, while the head weight of both are almost the same.

Is this normal? I wasn't aware that Yonex simply remove more weight from the handle to create a 4U (or add more weight to the handle to make a 3U). Did I get a super head heavy variation of the 4U?

Is this phenomenon seen in the ZF2 4U regular black/blue version? or just in the ZF2 LD version? And I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the controversy regarding whether the LD version is truly more head heavy than the regular version. For instance, if Yonex simply removed more weight in the handle to create 4U LD version, hence creating a 4U LD with the swing weight of a 3U. And perhaps Yonex truly created a lighter 4U version of the regular black/blue version with lighter swing weight than the 3U. In this instance, if you were to compare the 4U LD vs. 4U regular, you would indeed feel a noticeably head heavier LD version. Though I have no way to validate this as I don't have 3U and 4U of both regular and LD version. Anyone can validate this?

This is funny. i can really vouch that the LD version (at least mine) is more head heavier (and a bit heavier) than original z force 2... Batch difference maybe? same 4u, same strings and tension, same grip..

I feel the Z Force 2 is a tough racket to adjust to. as the racquet is smaller than the usual size on scramble shots I often miss, it takes alot of training to get used to. In comparison i just bought a JS 10 and i'm feeling very comfortable on it already.

I have no trouble playing with Z-Force 2, JS 10 is even more narrow and I hit with the frame quite a bit. Surely JS 10 is faster but I still struggle with it's tiny frame after 3 hours of use.
