You mean this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-F-Fj88lPw. LCW is training with 3 players on court at the same time. LOL, there was a fourth player swapping position with the one who get tired after landing smashes after smashes.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...C-commentator-11-years-meeting-just-once.html It all makes sense now...
Lee Chong Wei can win Olympic Gold, claims Lee Hyun Il “Age is not a problem... Chong Wei can win gold medal,” said the 35-year-old Hyun-Il. “Now he is back playing in tournaments... it is also a very good sign that he can still win,” Source:http://www.nst.com.my/news/2015/10/chong-wei-can-win-gold-olympics-says-ex-world-no-1
to win the Olympic Gold Medal in RIO next year, pray to god that these opponents, Chen Long, Lin Dan, Wei Nan, Viktor Exelsen, Kento Momoda and Jan O Jorgensen must not meet with LCW through to final round, and pray most of them get early exit...
I'm just thinking over this. If he has a good sparring partner like Wang Zheng Ming level (at the least), I believe he would have better chances and perhaps more variety of shots. The way I see this short clips, it trains his defense for sure but it makes him void of creativity and that leads to no solutions to countering others. Not sure if any would agree with me though, these are just my views.
Agree with Sleepy, maybe he can spar with Tommy Sugiarto or any independent players from Indo? Like Sony or Santoso?
Yeah, why not................And LCW gets bye to the final and other finalist graciously accepts and says 'LCW,you are the winner'...take the Gold Medal...any more prayers???????
Be that as it may, he may need prayers, or he may need a good line up to reach olympics final, or whatever, nobody can take away from the LCW the fact he is the longest player ever - to stay at the top, the list of finals goes on and on. Ok ok he so doesn't have the big heavyweights medals. But who can show me a player who has won it all but at the same time has the longest staying power as no.1?? Ok so maybe some says its not as being on top for as long as he does but having no heavy medals to show for it means nothing, but - I still give him a heads up and much kudos.
I hope to see LD vs LCW at Rio final. Their encounter in London 2012 was breath taking. Only FHF/CY vs LYD/JJS in WC2009 in India was better.
but then he needs to beat mighty chen long in the semi final (if he survives that far ) and that would be his hardest obstacle ..physically
Lee Chong Wei is a very funny guy
This is a good idea and it may happen closer to the Olympics when the picture on who is playing and who is not is clearer.
