Hi, i have been in Japan for the past few month visiting sick grandparents. At the same time, I slowly started to play badminton at local clubs again. I have been a Yonex, Gosen Ryoga as well as a LiNing fan. I am still satisfied with my trusty Ti-10, MP-90, N80 as well as my Shiden, Ougi, and Tenryu. But i really wanted to give Mizuno a try. does anyone have any suggestions for a good all rounder even balanced Mizuno racket? My style of play is mixed doubles as well as some singles, and I am aggressive on the offensive side, but do NOT want to sacrifice defense and net control for power. Thanks.
This could be an interesting read, That's all I really good find. http://everythinggoeshere.blogspot.sg/2012/08/badminton-racket-review-mizuno.html
I think u might like the luminasonic series. Luminasonic 11Hg is similar to arcsaber 11 - a fellow forummer (credit to korke78) told me about this. He rates it higher than the arc 11 in terms of control. I had the caliber 800 in the past which was a head heavy one. Quite quick as frame is very thin. Hope that helps.
Nope. You rarely or never see anyone here who plays with Mizuno, Gosen, Kumpoo, Adidas etc. Most club players and league players are using: (ranked by popularity) 1. Yonex 2. Victor 3. LiNing 4. APACS. 4. WILSON, Carlton 5. Forza, Babolat 5. Fleet Yonex Clones and other Yonex Clones 6. Gosen Miralight and Tenbu But I will give the LS11 a try at the store Anyone players with one of their new S Tour rackets such as the Caliber S Tour?
mentioned this earlier and someone told me they still made mizuno rackets just that they seem to be impossible to get outside Japan. obviously I know absolutely nothing about them but having used mizuno squash rackets before 10 years ago and finding them to be the absolute best available on the market I'd be really interested to hear what their badminton rackets are like and if the company still keeps such high standards.
Japan's top men's doubles player Kenichi Hayakawa uses Mizuno racquets: Mizuno Hayakawa model / Mizuno Caliber S Tour.
I am a Victor Siao guy but recently I got hold of the Calibre 800 and S Tour.. I'm kinda loving this Mizuno.. I've started scouring around for it.. Went to Malacca few weeks ago to play and get hold of 2 of them. Altrax 81 & Tachyon 9.7 Plays like the BS 11 & BS 12 respectively.. Planning a KL trip in Dec to visit a Mizuno retailed ship there... Loving the Mizuno Badminton brand now.. Haniffa Singapore
I spent quite a bit on a getting a Luminasonic S Tour - it's a great looking racquet. As intended, it is quick around the net, but maybe does feel slightly lacking in power from the rear court. Love it though.
Bro Smashface..I'm also intending to get the Luminasonic S tour and F tour most probably in Dec when I get my year end bonus .. Hahaha
