Near perfect TV court lineup.. The only improvement could've been managing 2 WS matches TTY vs AY along with PV vs WSX.. Also selected WD match should've been GP/NKM vs TYT/YY
How tastes differs! I was thinking "what a strange choice for tv line up!" None of the exciting encounters mentioned by CLELY are there, except for WSX vs Sindhu
The day started with an upset Danish combo Niclas NOHR and Sara THYGESEN ousted local young combo Lu Kai/HUANG Yaqiong in straight games!!!
I hope SWH vs Kento will be a cracker. Hard to predict with SWH's up and down, Kento is much more reliable.
Despite LXR winning against Pai YP, I don't see her in top form. Perhaps she's beginning to feel the pressure which,I'm afraid, will only get worse as the tournament progresses.
Match of The Day: Lin Dan vs Brice Leverdez Meanwhile,Lover Duo in QF and Sung Ji Hyun on the brink of defeat.
This is the first time I have seen Chen Xiaoxin play and its nice to see this young players footwork and stroke play. She has lovely timing and strikes the shuttle well. She may have lost but I hope the coaches will develop her power and courtcraft. If this is how the CBA is developing their juniors, well done.
Just watched the match between Chen Xiaoxin and Okuhara. The scores not withstanding I find that Chen can actually engage Okuhara in her rally game. However while Okuhara's shots are very accurate and she hardly made any mistake, Chen on the other hand constantly smashed or placed her shots out or into the net.
