LCW has a tough draw in the HK open. Will have to go through Chen Long and Lin Dan to get to the final.

Is it China Open or Hing Kong Open? If LCW wants to win Olympics Gold then he needs to win against CL and that too in straight sets.

Definitely HK open. Starts on the 17th. He will definitely have to beat them all to get olympic gold.

Great... some organizer at the venue has a dark sense of humour to give him that player number 24...

Translates in Chinese to "easy die"...

But... I see from another photo ID on Facebook that that's just the access area code for players...so forget what I mentioned.

For all we know, LCW may have done us Lin Dan fans a big favour by beating him today. Let's see how Lin Dan is taking it, hope it hurts him enough, then we can see him coming back stronger, finally.

In that case, I say, thank you to LCW.

Lin Dan lost to other players he got no feeling?

Why dont u thanked Victor Axelsen for humiliated him in Denmark Open 2015?

But LD had already stole the Japan Open SS title from him, that's why a QF defeat, that too in VA's homeland may not affect his feelings......

Did I say he got no feeling? Just that it didn't hurt him enough. Just look at how he played LCW and lost as compared to how badly he played against VA in that humiliating defeat. I mean if you think you played well and still lost to a main rival, an old foe, it hurts more than when you played badly and lost to a less threatening player whom he has beaten before.

Btw, in my sentence I was expressing a hope, not making a claim. I believe Lin Dan still regard LCW and CL as his two greatest rivals, then comes the rest, From the way he often talked about LCW, we can tell how much he held him in the highest esteem.

Have you read what Lin Dan said at the post-match interview regarding that defeat to LCW ? And why mentioned only VA's humiliating defeat on him, what about JOJ's equally humiliating defeat on him at the Jakarta WC ? If LD took it so badly, why didn't he buck up ? That's why I'm hoping LD takes this defeat at LCW's hands as a wake-up call and finally get his act together.

what u all don realise is that lcw had a 8 month ban right? when he came bk he had the sense of urgency to win while lindan took the break on his own will. Just like LyD during last years World Champs

LD did CL a huge favour by keeping LCW on the court for 90+mins. LCW is as good as toast in the final.

A very close match between LD & LCW a clash of the titans & Veterans. Contrasting style of play and a hand more than dozen of old memories. LCW emerged victorious and rightly so. If it had been a CL & LD finals then it woudl have been a easy outing for CL but with LCW in the finals it is going to be tough for CL. Hope LCW can give a good fight and secure win against CL. Hoping for LCW to win against CL.

Come on LCW & Saina Nehwal... Looking forward to your respective wins.
