Lee, Nehwal, Fischer/Pedersen deny all Chinese affairs

Host China has representative in all five disciplines and no impossible to create clean sweep first time at home Superseries tournament, who can spoil the party?

WD, Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi (JPN) v Tang Yuanting/Yu Yang (CHN)
    Head-to-head stats : 0-0
The world ranking discrepancy is very huge between these two finalists but Chinese women's doubles are known for their high quality skill. Tang/Yu combination show good prospect to be permanent pair, they won Bitburger Open Grand Prix Gold couple of weeks ago and delivered crucial point at Sudiman Cup semifinal in May this year, Yu Yang is defending champion, partnered with Wang Xiaoli. Third Superseries final for world number one Matsutomo/Takahashi as they topped podium in New Delhi and runner-up in Singapore, this consistent Japanese pair is title holder for upcoming Dubai Finals.

XD, Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen (DEN)
    H-2-H : 8-10
Fischer/Pedersen is the biggest stumbling block for incredible Zhang/Zhao as they booked victory in their last four meetings including Japan Open final this year. Home favourite has collected five titles so far in top level tournaments this year and their opponent won two titles in Tokyo and Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold. The Chinese ace is little bit sluggish at both second round and quarterfinal against Lee/Lee and Jordan/Susanto respectively while Danish duo seem pretty sharp to overcome their opponents. It will be close contest with unpredictable outcome tomorrow.

WS, Saina Nehwal (IND) v Li Xuerui (CHN)
    H-2-H : 2-9
A limping head to head statistics as the reigning Olympic Champion won 9 of 11 times of their meeting. Indian jewel Nehwal had difficulty at early rounds to eliminate Sun Yu and Tee Jing Yi then relatively comfortable to clear next rounds including against Wang Yihan despite the latter gave stiff resistance in second game. Denmark Premier crown last month injected morale boost for Li Xuerui to reclaim her authority as she produced excellent performance last season. Former champion Li has smooth run to book her final ticket at home soil, all straight-sets winning over her rivals.

MS, Chen Long (CHN) v Lee Chong Wei (MAS)
    H-2-H : 12-9
Lee Chong Wei exhibits superb fighting spirit and brilliant display to down his arch rival Lin Dan at China soil despite trailed behind at second and deciding game. His final hurdle none but home hero Chen Long who looks in good shape here, considering his performance to subdue tough and tricky opponents like Viktor Axelsen and Son Wan Ho. The Malaysian star battled hard against Chou Tien Chen, Jan O Jorgensen and 92 minutes gruelling clash to defeat Lin Dan, a tiring journey into last round. He must prepare superior stamina and better strategy to face Chen Long. Huge pressure is on for Chen to reclaim men's singles crown back to China after failed last year.

MD, Chai Biao/Hong Wei (CHN) v Kim Gi Jung/Kim Sa Rang (KOR)
    H-2-H : 4-2
Maybe it's right time for home men's doubles pair to pocket first ever title at homeground Superseries and Chai/Hong have bright opportunity to redeem their last year losing. The unseeded Kim/Kim play beyond expectation here to knock out three seeded pairs en route to the final, 8th seed Lee/Tsai, 4th seed Boe/Mogensen and 5th seed Endo/Hayakawa. They reach final in back to back tournament after won Korea Grand Prix Gold in Jeonju last week. Many unexpected results happen in this category as two frontrunners, Lee/Yoo and Ahsan/Setiawan were sent packing early.

I admire Joachim. The way he covers the court and drive is really impressive. Plus he and Christina are probably the only pair has advantage in H2H with golden duo. I will defenitely support him tomorrow. As for LCW, I’m curious on how he will perform tomorrow against Chen Long. He is in good form but CL is one of the best MS player now. LCW seems to find a way to get over LD, but will be a real test for him tomorrow.

Other than XD, ROW players can beat the Chinese on every other discipline theoretically. While on paper CHN has the mettle to sweep the board.

I don't know if LCW will have the legs and above all the self-believe to defeat CL today. It would be a surprise to me
