I found some slow motion videos, specifically these two. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nV4FN4Esr70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyU4dpM-ZZY Anybody know where I can find more of the same series of videos?
How about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO2emAZhqhQ&index=98&list=PLB9C8E7DA57553F9C https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NUzPLFSj0M&list=PLB9C8E7DA57553F9C&index=93 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5O1CPPKcQg&list=PLB9C8E7DA57553F9C&index=92
Here's where the FHF, CY slow mo videos are extracted from. A CCTV 5 episode. https://youtu.be/pU2j0hIs-pc
This might be just a once off video. I found it interesting for the spinning netshots, the striking point on the racquet was away from the sweet spot.
That's natural, isn't it? I mean, I don't intentionally do this, but I'm fairly sure it happens anyway
More control closer to the T. And with touch shots like this, power is not important anyway, so don't need sweetspot. If you watch the ZJH/XJ badminton coaching series, it's the same too.
Just a reminder, if anyone's not aware yet, there's a setting on the bottom right of the YouTube window (only works on PC, not mobile) that can slow down playback at 1/2 to 1/8 speed. Helpful for some cases where there's no slow mo replay available.
