I'm currently using bg85 and I really love it, but it's not lasting me long enough at all. Sometimes only for a few warmup hits. Does anybody know of any alternatives that have similar feel and repulsion but might last a bit longer?
I know the intuitive answer would be to use bg80, but I don't find it repulsive enough.

Try the Ashaway strings. I still use the old school Microlegend (.68mm). It is very identical with the Yonex BG80.

Try Ashaway Zymax 62 Fire. Its a bit softer, but the power and repulsion is there. I never broke one before.

I'll do the obvious and suggest Gosen R4X110 - I can't break it with plastic shuttles at 34 lb.

Bit of a ball-ache to get hold of these days, though...
