I have been trying to get a consistent good and reliable re-stringer in Singapore. Tried quite a lot of so called good ones but in-consistent. I have been visiting Hong Li and the owner himself strings for me. I use a LD90 II Woods and have it strung at 30lbs with BG 66 Ultimax. However its difficultfor me to go JB often bcos of work .
    Can anyone recommend? Thanks !

I think I can help to recommend a good stringer for you. Okay first of all I need further or more detailed information. I guess you must be staying in Singapore right? Then next thing is you prefered your badminton racquet to be string in Singapore or JB. How often do you need to string your racquet? Do you strong it on weekly basis? If you can provide me with more information then I can help you to find a good shop for stringing badminton racquet at a cheap price.

Hi; As mentioned I use to string regularly in JB at Hong Li . I restring every one and a half month . I prefer Singapore. Have strung with many recommended stringers but not very good. Still the best is in JB HONG LI. Anyone knows if someone here can match?

It's amazing that you would rate a Johor Baru stringer higher than all stringers in Singapore which annually hosts a Super Series tournament among others.

Incidentally, a whole group of professional players were in Singapore a few days ago (after the Indonesian Masters) - and, um, they did get many of their (mostly Yonex) racquets strung right here, in Singapore.

Plus you don't have to worry about the location. Oh you can simply just come over to Sengkang MRT and they will pick up your rackets there and string within 48 hours and delivering them directly to your house address after 48 hours for free.

They also offer picking up of rackets at any other MRT stations but it will come along with a one time transport fee of SGD5 every pick up. I personally have been visiting this shop any times and I find that the stringing quality from this shop is good.

    Yes, I second this!

Far East Sports is a good, precise and skillful stringer, furthermore they are using hi-tech Victor VE-80 Premium electronic stringing machine and they are the official stringer for Team Malaysia during this year SEA Games.

Enclosed their name card downloaded from FB.

I have another racket LD90 Woods Red strung with BG65 at 28 lbs. I find this model not suitable for me as compared with the LD90 second gen that I have.
I just bought this LD90 Woods one month ago and intend to sell it at a loss - $110 Any takers?

    Good day!

Good stringer in Singapore, there is a lot.

Badminton stringing services who have actual certification certified stringer MRT something there is also getting more and more in Singapore.

But the important thing is how much lead time you can give it to the stringer strung your badminton racket? If you are asking on the spot stringing or need it fast without any appointment or you're suddenly pop by, probably you can't get an excellent stringing service for sure.

Fast work there is always not 100% perfect, especially if you want to get a good quality of badminton stringing, you only can see neat, proper knots "outlook" but the string will not expand equally, and that's why you always feel the string after strung and drop tension fast.

Aside from this, and you need to tell the stringer what you need on your game. It's good that you can snap a video to him and tell him more about what you feel after the stringing he has done so that in future he can adjust accordingly. There are no professional stringer or master in this industry; all are just marketing ploy, no government bodies are recognize for the certification, current market all the certification is issued by non-profit or association and brand itself.

So you only need to find a stringer that able to spend effort listen to what you need instead of only ask for tension and color of the string. Good luck and cheers!
