Hi guys, I am planning to buy three Duora 10s, is it totally different than VTZF2? In term of offensive only.

You should really try it out from a friend or store before committing to 3 of them. And yes it's as different as an Arc 11 to a VTZF2.

Z force 2 and duora 10 are entirely different... Having used both of these i am pretty sure of this... Its like an upgraded arc 11 ...

    When disaster strikes!

After several trials with my friends' racquets, I finally bought the Yonex Duora 10.
I had it strung with BG-66 Ultimax at 33 pounds.

Yesterday, my partner decided to mess with my forehand - and this was the result.

Although I had the racquet for only a week, it was one of my most enjoyable badminton weeks ever.

    This racquet is awesome.
    Truly awesome.

when you string at 33lbs you should expect this to happen

    I don't get why u need 33lbs.
it's about your tension truly awesome but not about your racket i guess, or it could be your stringer problem.
I strung at 30lbs Aerosonic with no issue at all.

I need 33 lbs the same way you need 30 lbs.
Different people, different set of requirements.

In any case, the tension isn't the reason for the racquet's death.
I was clearing from the baseline when my partner brought his racquet in.
19lbs, 29lbs or 39lbs - it would have made no difference to the end result.

No, you shouldn't expect this to happen when you play with seasoned players.

Not really. I would prefer 33lbs. but I don't want to do so, I assume most rackets could stand 30lbs. So i set 3lbs lower. But it's still fine. For some reasons i go higher as Duora10 big frame, drop tension really fast. Well, then it's your partner fault unfortunately. Sad case.

    Rest in pieces....

But kudos to your partner's forehand. He almost cut the head in half!
The string tension played a negligible role in this homicide.

RIP. Guess it's not covered under warranty?

Is that foam filling on the left by the orange section? Since you have it broken already, can you disect it a bit to see if and where the foam filling is? :D

Whoa, I didn't know it had a foam filling
The carcass is in the trash - I will check it out later.

As for the warranty - nope, I can't claim since I took it off a professional player.

Interesting... ZF2 LCW was only last year and now this. Yonex really loving LCW right now
Wonder if it would've been different if he dyed his hair different.

Very true. I'm a LCW fan myself so I don't mind, just surprised that it's only been a year since his last limited edition gear.

    That I agree. Haha

Though it does seems like they are trying to milk as much as possible from the two legends.

It seems that there aren't any other marketable stars left.
