I had a 3U JJS before and I do feel a 4U JS10 has similar power. Personally I believe that is mostly due to the smaller and more aerodynamic frame in the JS10, allowing for faster swing speed given the same force generated by the user. Furthermore many suggest that the JS10 as a higher sweet spot, this technically speaking would also lead to higher raquet speed at exact impact point. However that is if you don't mind consequently a slightly smaller sweet spot. Thought I believe the JS10 is best suited for soneone with a good wrist action, who can fully take advantage of the head light design to generate the extra speed, as well as provide enough raquet accelation to flex the shaft. Someone with a more arm and less wrist action may not be as impressed with the JS10.
^ yep, agree on the higher sweetspot providing a longer lever And early on about this time last year, a few of us early users found that this racket shaft gets optimally activated by a slowFAST action.
In a nutshell. Your build up swing is slow but at the moment before impact you accelerate the swing fast.
Just a quick public service announcement on this racket, if you buy it try to avoid scooping the shuttle off the floor with the racket. I haven't seen it on other rackets but on the JS10 the strings around the top third of the racket sit proud of the frame, as a result each time you pick up the shuttle you are scraping the strings on the ground, this will eventually cause them to snap, as happened to me yesterday :-( Other than that, fantastic racket.
Much appreciated but this is a issue I noticed with all 76 hole rackets tbh. Easily remedied by changing your scooping technique a lil bit.
Honestly it doesn't make a huge difference IMO. I have the same problems with all my JS rackets when I scoop too hard even though the normal sized ones are more recessed.
Nope, actually it's the other way round. The string sits more exposed on the KRP so I also scratched it when picking up the shuttle. No issue at all with the commercial 4U though.
Been playing with my 4U JS10 for couple of weeks now, haven't noticed any scraping on the strings, maybe a little bit but not anything out of the ordinary.. Maybe i just have awesome technique.. Other than that, after 2x4 hours sessions, i got used to the racket and i must say it's the best racket i have ever owned, i have been changing racket almost every season but always coming back to the FZ Kevlar series, but this time im not switching back
I actually just got another one today, and to my surprise, the groove in the frame where the strings should be is not nearly as deep as the previous one i have. So the strings are quite a bit more out in the open.. Kindda surprised about this, the weight also feels different from dry swings than the first one i bought, both are 4u but from two different shipments. I went back in the thread to find the pictures i knew i had seen, my 4U EU version seems to be the same as the ones on the picture that s_mair posted, the difference is the same however mine is both of them 4U..

Hi Guys, just a quick question what do you think is the difference between KRP, MYP, and PH coded? (Jetspeed S10)
All are mentioned in the thread if you read through. If I remember correctly myp is more head heavy and stiffer. Not sure about KRP. What are ph?
