Are there any racket out there that is similar to Nanoray z speed fast racket. Looking for something like nanoray z speed, but prefer bigger head frame. Any brand out there Victor, lining, yonex that has racket like Z speed? Good smash + Defense and Very Fast.
I seriously doubt that you will find a racket that is similar to the Z-Speed (maybe Z-Slash). It's a truly unique racket. I've tried the Jetspeed 10 (yeah, the 4U version) and it's nothing like the Z-Speed; a little faster maybe, but for me a lot less powerful.
JS 10 is small head according to paul stewart. I honestly think nanoray z speed is a good racket - fast, good smash good defense. The problem is the small head making it hard which is why people thump down this racket. Any racket like nanoray z speed with bigger head frame?
What happened to your HX800? The problem is this: The Z-Speed and the JS10 are both so fast and yet powerful because they both have the smaller head design. That reduces drag and makes the rackets move through the air quicker with less force. So a combination of comparable head speed and a larger head would be a stroke of genius but is currently not reality.
hx800 not stiff enough and lack of repulsion. Is just mostly pure control defense racket and fast. But nanoray design for repulsion, I mean Nanospeed 9900 is big head but fast though compare to z speed and JS10.
Nanospeed 9900 was a sensational racket and I have no clue why Yonex just doesn't seem to bring a proper replacement and upgraded version in place. Only two problems with the NS9900: 1) Good luck in finding one in good condition for a fair price 2) Due to its head light balance it's about as fast as a JS10, but clearly lacks power
...if you want extra stiff, then wait until that Thruster Dong hits you! Sorry... just couldn't resist...
Well I heard N900 is the succescor of n9900 not sure if true or not, but I never really tried n900 so I am not too sure.
Yonex promoted the NR900 as the successor of NS9900 since they knew how sucessful the NS9900 was and that there were a lot of people out there waiting for an upgrade. But from all I have heard and read, they are still quite different. Sadly, I still haven't played the NR900 yet, so that is purely based on hearsay.
Funny things is that I never tried N900, however I did play single against someone I don't really know from the tournament and he was using N900. Gotta say the repulsion of his shot is scary as hell to play against with. But his net shot is terrible, and many review say net shot is terrible because of dull feeling, not sure if the guy I play is suck at net shot or the racket n900 has to do with it. I was using vtzfII against Nanoray 900. Although I won the battle, but man his repulsion was fking scary as hell. Guess what? When I ask him what string do u use? He said Bg 65. I was like holy ****, bg 65 so much repulsion, I can't imagine if is bg 66 ultimax. Since that day I was crazy about nanoray series, that why I posted this thread. But I still want to hear more review of N900 still not fully convinced yet. The only thing I convinced is the repulsion is scary. But I am worry about the control since repulsion racket usually lack of control so I hope this N900 have a least good control. If net shot suck then I probably won't buy it. Need more review to be convinced.
I've used the old 700rp. I assume it's not in the same class as the z speed and 900 has far as technology, but for a headlight to balanced racket it generates pretty solid power and is relatively stiff.
I've been wanting to try this nrzp but seeing the number of users are selling off their nrzp like popcorn, i doubt if i should ever get one myself? I have Arc Z Slash 3UG5 and it already felt "too" light for me (user of vtzf ii 3ug5). I wonder if NRZP is even lighter than arc z slash or head heavier? I do however a lover of oval small head as such vtzf, arczs, and i see nrzp also obtain the same head shape.
