well done India, India has become a force to be reckon with. few more years, there will be more exciting players.

on paper india players should whitewash the malaysian junior but maybe due to overwhelming pressure, those games were close

Minnows India huff and puff their way past powerhouse Malaysia into the semifinals! The future is good for India. Many juniors coming up. Formidable Indonesia awaits India in semis.:)

India book a place on merit in the Thomas Cup finals. India also has good team ranking so there was never any danger of missing the Thomas/Uber Cup finals for men and women.

So as a neutral observer for today I would like to summarise the whole match.

    1. K. Srikanth did such a good job proving that he is a good MS player winning the match today.

    2. Manu Attri / Sumetth Reddy did a good job today winning the match. Actually both Low Juan Shen / Tan Kian Meng played well today as well but then it can be seen that this pitiful former MS player haven't quite adjusted to his MD role yet. He played much better in his XD matches. well as this partnership Tan Kian Meng only started playing MD in December 2015, I would still say that he did a good job today despite losing the match. Anyway Low Juan Shen / Tan Kian Meng certainly won't be playing in the Thomas Cup 2016 finals. This newly formed pair is still young so they have ample of time to improve their game. I certainly hope that Tan Kian Meng won't lose his sleep due to this lost. Anyway I guess Tan Kian Meng should decide now. To play in XD or MD. I see that playing in both XD and MD has taken a toll in his performance.

    3. Iskandar once again did a good job winning the match today and that set the turning point for the whole match. Ajay Jayaram played very well also today. So Iskandar has proven to his coach that he should be chosen for the Thomas Cup finals 2016.

    4. The newly formed MD 2 partnership Teo Ei Yi / Ong Yew Sin certainly did a good job for winning the match today. Wow this is really an unexpected win. Both Teo Ei Yi / Ong Yew Sin definitely won't be playing in Thomas Cup 2016 finals but I am just saying that perhaps this pair can be considered due to their good performance thus far.

    5. As for the MS 3 match H. S. Prannoy played very well and congratulations for winning the match. Soo Teck Zhi started to play better in game 2 but it is already too late.

Anyway both team India and Malaysia showed a very good fighting spirit and have really entertained people from other countries too by playing so well today.

On paper the Indian team A should win over the Malaysian team B junior players 3-0. But then what a surprise it is 3-2 after all. :)

Not sure if they can be considered as juniors, but definitely 2nd stringers. However Soo Teck Zhi is definitely a junior as he is still fairly young, really like his style of play, will be having my eye on him from now on :).

Glad to see Wang Shixian so steady, reliable and stable, so far so good, and playing the lead role for the first time so well.
